Efe Ajagba is a disaster waiting to happen

Dubois ices this guy with ease. Efe will be built like Wilder feasting on cans for years before actually stepping up as he his being talked up alot at this point and the hype will continue to grow as he dines out on bin men and pastry chefs resulting in mega PPV opportunities even though the skill dosn't quite cut it.

 

Are people sure about Ajagba after seeing put onto ***** street by Kiladze?

I am not sure about him. But lets see how he does in other fights first before writing him off.

 

I don't know that anyone thinks of him as a boogeyman of the division. He is a big power puncher with little technique and a lot of athelticism. High end maybe Deontay Wilder talent

 

Ajagba is a big technical puncher ( great right hand power ) who's a little stiff and need some work on defense. While his chin isn't good, its not worse than Wiider's. I say wait and see how he develops as he can box pretty well. I'm not sold on Dubois either. Let him fight Joyce, and we'll see.

 

I am not impressed. I would be pretty surprised if he was able to pick up a belt.

 

The bomb squad see alot of promise in Efe, so does Haymon. He's got a lot to learn from Deontay, will be moulded into champion after a few more fights.

 

Dubois would flatten Ajagba...

 

He's been given a far tougher early path than Wilder was. All obvious flaws aside he should receive credit for not being coddled.

 

I think he could pick up a belt, but that has nothing to do with whether or not he is a world level fighter. I think his ceiling is a top 20 heavyweight without ever becoming a top 5 heavyweight.

 

Didn't disaster already happen?

If you compare Ajagba to say Fury, when the latter was 13 fights into his pro run, you´d say Ajgba thus far has looked better.
So the foundation is solid. Thus why people are excited for Ajagba.
All that remains to be seen is if he can improve.

However, I have my doubts about Ronnie Shields being the man to improve Ajagba.

 

I remember folks around Dallas were touting Ike Ibeabuchi as the next big thing in HW boxing,Me included. Trainer ,the late great Curtis Cokes said " CJ wait till someone unloads a bomb on his chin, if he overcomes it, then we'll know " After the Ike - Tua battle Curtis grinned & said " OK CJ he's convinced me too now The only one with a chance against him is Lewis & he's getting on"
Efe's chin looked a bit suspect we'll just have to wait & see

 

I love him, exciting he is.

 

Even Duncan Dokiwari was better than Ajagba.
