    Braddock arguably, Baer no way!

Baer could (not necessarily would) have given him all that he could handle in his prime!

And I'm sure the guy who called Alexis Arguello and Luis Rodriguez bums knows all about them.

Anyone who calls an ATG like John Henry Lewis a bum needs checking.

Baer wins by walking through a fighter.

So he has to hurt Foreman before Foreman hurts him.

I'm not sure many people can hurt Old Foreman before being hurt themselves whilst fighting an aggressive fight.

Like you said the other day , the perimeter stops the guy from taking punches if they're too slow to use their feet

No way on earth would Baer get on his bicycle.

He will slug it out with Foreman Lyle style until one man drops.

Braddock would decision a prime Foreman. Foreman when he was older was more experienced and more clever, but I still see him taking a loss.

Broadly speaking yes, but he backed up against shorter fighters, and he hid behind his jab sometimes if he was getting the worst of the exchanges.
Old Foreman steered clear of punchers for a reason.

No he hid behind a jab as a very last resort when he felt he was about to be knocked out.

A jab was a survival tactic for Baer, not a boxing tactic.

People also say Frazier steered clear of punchers, Lewis steered clear of lefties and Johnson steered clear of any top contenders.

But we can still say Frazier can beat punchers, Lewis can beat lefties and Johnson would likely have beaten anyone in the world from 1905 to 1915.

I am not sure whether that statement is true or not.

You could conclude that based upon the Louis fight, but that might not be the only time that he used it.
I doubt the above statements, and I will expand upon my reasons if you wish.

In old Foreman's case, I lean towards believing it.

He was quite candid about not wishing to meet certain fighters, fair play to him.

He obviously picked his opposition very carefully.
The difference is that Frazier, Lewis, and Johnson, were not accidents waiting to happen!

I agree he was very beatable, but not by Braddock. James really had the wrong style to engage with any version of Foreman.

I better watch more Braddock then, because nothing I have seen from him gives me the idea he'd beat Foreman.

He beat Baer, and gave Louis a better scrap than either Carnera of Baer.

    Just sayin!
