watched that fight last week. i thought Canelo clearly won. I thought he won the night of the fight, but after watching it again i have no idea how anyone could score it for GGG. The body language of both fighters after the fight told the entire story. both fighters' body language after the second fight was different compared to after the first fight.

Golovkin won 8-4. Not only did he outland Canelo, but he also landed harder.

    shadow's desperation grows!

    It was a close fight!!
    Canelo WHOOPED 3G!
    3G got schooled!!

In a month, Shadow will be saying it was a shutout. No wait, he'll say there's a CASE For it to be scored a shutout, just like he thinks there's a case for Canelo STILL BEING UNDEFEATED!! kooky kids these days....

A Super welterweight Canelo gave the reigning MW champion all he could handle, and his toughest fight in his first real fight above 154. One fight later and a little more acclimated Canelo beat GGG.

Golovkin arguably lost to Daniel Jacobs, at best for GGG he won a razor thin fight even with the KD. Canelo clearly beat Jacobs, albeit close, but also took a lot less damage than GGG, and looked more competent.

Prime for Prime there is more evidence that Canelo beats Golovkin than vice versa.

Prime for prime there is more evidence that Canelo hid under the sofa whenever GGG walked into the room.

If that narrative makes you feel better, by all means, knock yourself out.

    GGG: Give me my belt!
    Canelo: Yes, sir.

    It's the facts :deal:

Derevyanchenko: You don't deserve that belt!
    GGG: You're right sir.

    It's the facts :deal:

ASSOL used to claim 3G ducked SD...until after he fought him and then realized canelo did the same w/o fighting him.

Golovkin didn't intend to not fight Derevyanchenko. He intended to fight Canelo. He was stripped because he wanted to fight ginger.

Unless iSalty is claiming SD > Canelo, there's no duck that happened.

Except, of course, that Canelo ducked Sergey for real

Are you not good at multi-tasking or something?

What is so hard to grasp about someone getting schooled whilst being engaged in a close competitive match? The two concepts are not mutually exclusive. It's like you're so narrow minded that things must be one or the other but more than 1 thing cannot occur at the same time.

Lance you are not a robot, I suggest you open your eyes and your mind to the fact that multiple things can happen at the same time.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for a sec.. name some fights where one guy SCHOOLED the other, yet it was close.

Jacobs said the GGG fight was his best performance, but GGG still won that fight clearly, no controversy what so ever. As for the first GGG vs Canelo fight, 90 % think GGG won, so what the 10% says is really irrelevant. The majority of the people think GGG won the 2nd fight as well.
