You have no damn clue about MMA to be honest if you think Masvidal is a bad matchup for Usman. Of course Masvidal is the better striker but this is MMA and Usman is going to wrestle here. And if you think Masvidal can wrestle with Usman then you should rewatch Masvidal vs. Maia or Masvidal vs. Benson. It's quite funny how many MMA experts coming out of nowhere and hyping up Masvidal because they watched his last two fights. Masvidal was ragdolled by Darren Till before he caught him with that big shot. Usman will be way too strong and too big for Masvidal here. Masvidal might be able to wrestle with Lightweights or stuff their TDs but not with Big Welterweights like Usman. Usman is gonna manhandle him on the ground. Masvidal has a chance of a lucky strike KO but there is no way he gonna win a 5 round decision against Usman and i do not think the chance of a KO is pretty high. You will be surprised on Sunday morning how easy Usman gonna put Masvidal in his place. 1,5 years ago Masvidal was an unknown journeyman lmfao, now he gonna wrestle with Kamaru Usman. HAHAHAHAA. Masvidal has been anything but an unknown journey man to anybody who has followed the sport long enough. After throwing shade at somebody's knowledge had to laugh at this comment "be surprised how easy Usman gonna put Masvidal in his place",considering only a couple of top fighters have had an easy win in Jorges long career, which includes many late notice fights and thought of any fighter,especially somebody like Usman putting Jorge in his place is unlikely and ridiculous. There is no doubt Usman is an outstanding athlete and wrestler who deserves to be a big favorite this weekend,especially with the late notice but Masvidal is extremely dangerous and has been an underdog in so many of his nearly 50 fights,including most of his recent fights on his way to this title shot and my main concern being the effects of the big weight cut. Jorges rise to a deserved title shot began when he started fighting more aggressively and going for finishes after being on wrong end of some close decisions and with the extra work and quality guys he's trained with recently,i think will definitely have good enough TD defense and overall wrestling to nullify and frustrate Usman.
Nothing better then big time boxing and quality fights, with the best against the best and it hurts me to say this but outside of a few fights,imo the last few years UFC has delivered a better product,especially with there big promotions which have good quality evenly matched fights right down the card compared to boxers and there promoters safety 1st approach,seemingly more interested in building pretty records. Since the corona virus it hasn't even been close with UFC clearly delivering the better quality fights and far more off them compared to boxings fairly slow return,which will hopefully change with strong finish to the year with boxers keen to resume and no excuse not to be ready.
Looking forward to the main event obviously but I think Volkanovski v Holloway will likely be fight of night from the main card

He doesn't just lay in half guard , but instead pops himself back up. ppl assume Uzman is this seasoned champion that can overcome anything, but he is still a little green in the standup. I dont see uzman beating masvidal on the feet, his best effort is to tire him by laying his weight on him against the cage and tiring him out till he gets him drained and go for a rnc just like khabib/conor.
The number is decent but Masvidal hasn't faced any strong wrestler in the UFC so far who is comparable to Usman in size, strength, TD entries and top control. Masvidal gonna get ragdolled tonight. Nobody cares about the green striking of Usman, he's gonna wrestle and he will have success. Masvidal was taken down by much weaker guys and worse wrestlers. Masvidal needs a lucky strike KO. Elbow, knee or a hook like against Till. Otherwise he gonna lose a 50-43 like decision.
masvidal 20 lbs cut in 6 days? If this is true I think it will be a huge factor if this goes into the championship rnds. Usman should wrestle him and wear him out and go for the kill in the late rnds.

look for the body kicks or a counter ko usman throws one strike at a time and admires his work. He got wobbled twice by a very average striker with **** tech and power.
you cant even compare masvidal and mcgregor. masvidal is the most well rounded fighter in the sport. His wrestling is light years better then mcgregors and his striking is a couple notches above and hes a bigger guy. plus khabib uses alot of sambo sweeps. Usman is a straight collegient wrestler. Nothing masvidal hasnt seen for the last decade.
