Bull****. He was explosive and had legs that Old Foreman didn’t have. His chin was good until Lewis/post Tyson anyway. Sanders was faster and more mobile but wasn’t sitting on punches back then like Ruddock. Ruddock was somewhere in the middle of those two stylistically which would be enough to quickly take out Cooper.
You act like you know everything and anything. Cool down. Ruddock was dropped hard, nearly KO'd by shot James Smith, and he was knocked down 10+ times in his career (and I don't count his 50+ y.o. fights - it's unfair). His chin wasn't like Michael Grant's - far better surely, but not even close to Foreman's.
I think Cooper was a much better fighter, and a tougher one, but he was less consistent than Ruddock, and didn't have any BIG name wins like Ruddock had. Still, Cooper came within a hair of beating Holyfield, Moorer, and Mercer, so I think a victory over Ruddock is possible, but Ruddock could turn the tables on an up-and-down Cooper. Part of my favor for Cooper is sentimental. He was an unusual fighter in his times, and was the last to quit, but he was beatable for sure. I still think Cooper is more likely though.
You kidding me? Watch Ruddock turn to jelly when old Mike Weaver tags him with a huge left hook in the 3rd round. He was losing a tough fight against old Greg Page when the fight-for Ruddock luckily-was stopped, and Tyson floored him four times (once debatable), but none of those punches had much sting, even though this is Mike Tyson we're talking about here.
His chin was never good! He was explosive only with one hand and had skinny legs unlike Foreman tree trunks legs! Chin?Man was stopped by any good puncher he faced! Stopped by Tyson twice,Morrison twice,Lewis and Jaco!Struggled to beat ancient Weaver! Only Bowe had power and Foreman and no one knocked Cooper cold! Foreman bad mucj better one punch power than Ruddock!I asled not only Trish,Tommy's wife but also Jaco family and both stated that Foreman hit alot harder than Ruddock!
That Smith would’ve beaten Cooper too. Foreman didn’t really have his chin tested all that much in his comeback anyway. Some of that was defense. Some was opponent selection.
But I proved my point and you don't like that then you insult my grammar like everyone who lose debate!
Your old pastime of inventing fight results and seeing if anyone takes the bait. It should be grounds for dismissal here.
Nope I just proved my points with boxing record! I know how to use and many things proves Foreman was better in everything than Ruddock and dis better against common oponents!
