Looks like UFC251 was the companies biggest show since Conor v Khabib in 2018,with Masvidals late inclusion probably 1 of the big reasons. While Usman had another dominant win,unless he gets another big drawing opponent, im not sure how many of the 1.3 million + people who apparently watched fight island, will pay to watch him fight again. Masvidal on the other hand will remain 1 of the companies biggest stars,losing few fans after stepping in on short notice,with several big fights involving him that people want to see.
The fight went like I expected. Masvidal cut too much weight in too short a time to be effective for more than a couple of rounds. Regarding the Holloway fight, I don't like how some MMA websites are calling it robbery like it's definitive. It was a close fight with 2 rounds a piece and 1 swing round. Round 1 - Holloway clear Round 2 - Holloway clear Round 3 - Could have gone either way. I gave it to Volk for being more effective in that round. Round 4 - Volk close, but clear Round 5 - Volk close, but clear So where is the robbery? Who you think won depends on how you score round 3. You can disagree with it, but no way it's a robbery.
