When the fight was the most relevant, that Pacquiao, on record, walked away over blood testing from Mayweather and that's what scuttled the fight at first? It seems like most of this section is unwilling to accept this as the objective reality of the situation, and blames Mayweather. Am I wrong? Or are they truly blind to this fact and assume a denialist position about it with regard to the two and their legacies in the sport?

I accept it. It was a bogus excuse then and everyone believed it because they wanted to

Pretty funny that when the fight actually happened it was Mayweather who got popped and allowed to walk away scott free by his enablers at the NVSAC. You know, the last commission to allow the use of steroid hand injections that he got caught using in Michigan and was allowed to walk away scott free on despite them being banned there...

    I don't really care who's at fault.

We'll have to forever lament the fact that in 2010 the two P4P mega stars were unable to successfully negotiate a fight.

Could have been dehydrated and that's what his "superstition" told him felt best. Idk I feel like I've heard superstition used as an excuse to avoid getting popped but I can't remember where

Nope, nothing dodgy at all about that. Victor Conte agrees:

“There are strict criteria for the granting of a TUE. You don’t hand them out like Halloween candy. And this sort of IV use is clearly against the rules. Also, from a medical point of view, if they’re administering what they said they did, it doesn’t make sense to me. There are more effective ways to rehydrate. If you drank ice-cold Celtic seawater, you’d have far greater benefits. It’s very suspicious to me. I can tell you that IV drugs clear an athlete’s system more quickly than drugs that are administered by subcutaneous injection. So why did USADA make this decision? Why did they grant something that’s prohibited? In my view, that’s something federal law enforcement officials should be asking Travis Tygart.”

May didn't want to face a prime Pac plain and simple. May was afraid his 0 would go.
Why was May able to dictate Madonas gloves at the last moment while he himself used Grant's. May was allowed to do whatever he wanted period. They lost the Pac accusations in court.

It shows where your heart is if you're willing to classify an IV with steroids for one fight and one fight only, with one specific fighter.

As I've said before, Pac was using the WADA banned corticosteroid Celestone through training camp. He got a TUE.

Mayweather used an IV which is not a PED, and got a TUE.

    Mayweather also won.
