Actually Eddie has been very smart. Let Warren build them up and if any of them look like they’re going somewhere he can just swoop in and take them when they’re ready for the big time.

It was a Friday and the night was basically a test run in a heavily restricted show with unknown fighters. It was never going to do a massive audience and it wouldn’t do great figures on an equivalent sky show either...look at the ratings for the disastrous NXGENs for example.

True. Wasn't that much promotion either, at least that I was aware of.

Although with them being first to return I thought maybe a few more fans would tune in.

    Good move from Frank!

Although I remember when he signed Dubois on a long term deal, a few days later Warrington moved to Matchroom. Could a similar thing be happening with Yarde? (conspiracy theory mode)

Yarde is due to headline his own BT studio show next month, then he’s on the Dubois PPV

I’m glad Williams has extended - he looks a beast at 160

yeh sky sports news is one the best ways to promote fighters. so if hearn does leave sky for dazn. It will be harder for him to promote

I think the influence of Sky sports news in terms of promotion in the last few years is nowhere near as significant as it is been.

BTs digital reach dwarfs Sky and the notion that Warren will not be able to create a star like Eddie can is now nonsense. It’s not the Boxnation era anymore - BT have a major platform.

If Dubois does an exciting job on Joyce he will move towards mainstream.

Which is all well and good if his ‘much anticipated first boxing show in Britain for months’ show didn’t get a shocking 50,000 viewers!
