    What a baby.

Leonard is a much better boxer than Mayweather anyway.

Floyd got handled by Maidana, and that's because he avoided Khan.

He lost to Castillo. DURAN WOULD KILL HIM.
I do think Floyd is underrated by many though.
At 130 he is probably the best.

Floyd is correct when the so called experts have Manny Pacquiao ranked at number 3 best Welterweight ever as if the likes of Sugar Ray Robinson, Felix Trinidad and others never existed. Floyd is certainly in the argument for the best ever especially as he never lost. Fighters are supposed to think they are the best ever.

The list was poor. But as great as Floyd was, you know that he could never have been no.1.

His peak was at the lower weights.

Ray was a better WW and he has a much better WW resume.

    Floyd has no argument.

What point are you trying to make?

    Barkley beat Hearns at MW.

Ray’s win over Hearns at WW is better than any WW win that Floyd has.

Ranking the top5 wins between them:

    1) Hearns
    2) Duran
    3) Benitez
    4) Pacquaio
    5) Mosley? Hatton? Judah?

Floyd has no case to be ranked ahead of Leonard at WW. None.

    Okay.

I still don’t understand your point.

We can’t just dismiss Hearns’ loss to Barkley, but how is that relevant to the thread?

Tommy Hearns was outboxed at MW by a huge guy in Barkley.

Tommy Hearns outboxed Leonard at WW, before Leonard switched tactics and had a firefight.

    Styles make fights.

Yes, Floyd is on another planet to a guy like Barkley. So what?

    So was Leonard.

You still haven’t made your point.

I’m not trolling you, I honestly don’t know what you’re trying to say.

Are you saying that Leonard’s win over Hearns at WW wasn’t great, because Hearns went on to lose to a non great fighter in Barkley?

Leonard’s win over Hearns at WW was great. And what happened to Hearns years later, 2 divisions higher, doesn’t devalue that win at all.

Floyd doesn’t hold a win at WW as good as Leonard’s win over Hearns.

Floyd was not a better WW than Hearns or Leonard, even if he was a better P4P fighter than the guys who they lost to.

Trinidad had longevity as his greatest accomplishment at WW, not a CV full of top WWs...... gimp...
