What about Naseem Hamed and Steve Robinson at Cardiff Arms Park?

Absolute dross to watch most weeks - refer to the Man Utd v Wolves at Biig Joan Fury's home stadium Old Shatford this season for a good example.

Yeah there were quite a few from back in the day but was only doing fights from Coopers generation onward. Jack Bodell's a good one, didn't know he fought at Villa, 60's seem to be a golden era for UK heavy's.

All that money in football and we end up with 12-15 teams parking the bus every week to avoid relegation - they must realise that 3 teams still go down parking the bus so why don't they just play entertaining football FFS.

Tony Pullis and Fat Sam types gone but we will suffer their legacy of boring football for years to come.

Burnley fans sit in the pub watching away matches with seats stuck to the floor in 4-5-1 formation.

Given your nom de plume, I doubt we'll get much objectivity. Suffice to say that, until the re-start when the wheels came off the red gravy train, Wolves gave Liverpool their 2 best games of the season.
Now, at the risk of getting booted for wandering off topic, Boxing / stadiums.

It was Jack who fought Cooper at Molineux too. I was born in the 60's so wasn't around to enjoy those fights first hand but yeah, although all pretty moderate in terms of ability, the British 60's Heavyweights all fought each other and produced some fabulous tear ups. A good afternoon's worth on Youtube for sure.
Billy Walker v Jack Bodell is a personal favourite.

Watch Burnley v Wolves on BBC 2 now for your average Prem stinker - will record this just in case I develop a sleeping disorder.

To bring it back to boxthing in stadiums - the above is Paint Dry Parker at the Millenium v Tony Dosh PPV.

He seems like a bit of a legend, boxing champion, movie star, nightclub owner with underworld connections, met a mysterious death aged only 46. I will definitely read up a bit more on this guy.

Thanks, I'll check this one out.
