Mon at 11 am AEST. The fight will be Aug 26 Wed at the new Townsville
Stadium in front of 15000 fans and a massive PPV audience. Rushton
already fired the first shot saying the Hornet will stop Tszyu in 6 rds.
* Gallen vs Hunt likely date Oct 31 six days after NRL GF.
* Maloney twins fights rated well according to Top Rank.

funny how its ok for every boxer to show confidence and back their own ability but if jeff horn does it he's an arrogant scumbag pos dog, lol.

sad how someone can have so much hate on a stranger who is a respected role model.

 

The arrogance of them to think that they are so well known so Kim working with them is free advertising for his business. Just crazy and speaks volumes about the kind of people Horn and Rushton are. You are right Kim giving the money back is a bit off it makes you wonder what Rushton said to him, probably some sort of blackmail or threat of charging an advertising fee.

 

Just saw some of the press conference, does Jeff Horn own any other suits? Seems like he has worn that blue suit to every press conference over the last few years LOL

 

Surprised he isn't wearing a tweed jacket with leather patches

 

* Horn vs Tszyu undercard is taking shape. With only 6 weeks notice
and lockdowns no overseas opponent's only domestic clashes.
* Isaac Hardman has locked in a opponent to be announced and
formerly world rated. Sounds like Joe Camilleri who about to enter
a training camp with the Bulli Blaster. BB has said he will be in
JC corner for Aug 26 fight involving JC.
* Rumor has Justi Huni will also make pro debut and Clay Waterman
also fighting.
* D& L fighter Jarvis , Opetia and Wilson also .Though for these three
will be hard to find a legitimate opponent in these circumstances.

I thought I heard David Light's name mentioned as being on the undercard as well.

He versus Jai Opetaia would make for a good main support. Might help with flogging PPV's to the Kiwis also.

 

Watched the whole press conference Jeff Horn's arrogance was on full display. What a douche bag, just hearing his voice is enough to make you want to change channel.

 

Put Pac in a straight jacket all night - only other jacket he has got.

 

* Horn vs Tszyu undercard continue's to take shape.
* Kiwi David Light vs Ben Kelleher. BK was going to fight Jason Whateley
before lockdown and is former Aust CW Champ which he vacated.
* Kye Mackenzie vs unbeaten Vict Kayne Clarke. KC is saying he is
only Vict on the card . Joe Camilleri is former Vict but now based in QLD.
* Liam Wilson confirmed to fight also.Wilson even after only six fight there
was talk of him fighting for World Title in 21 he is that good at 130 lbs.
Would like to to see him fight one of three Cheeky May , Bruno Tarimo
or Showtime Fleming. But on only 6 weeks notice i except LW to fight
a 135 lb fighter.

 

Light vs Kelleher is a good scrap if Kelleher has been staying in shape.

 

Is Ben Horn going to be on the under card?

* Update on Horn vs Tzyu vs undercard under short notice understandably
no marquee matchups.
* Liam Wilson vs tough Kiwi Nort Beauchamp ( never been stopped in 20 fights ).
* Orange southpaw Sam Ah See making a comeback vs talented Blacktown Koen
Mazoudier. Sam similar to Showtime Fleming , Damien Hooper , Cameron Hammond
and Luke Boyd sadly will most likely never fulfill their enormous potential.
* Local Lachlan O' Shea who tko Ben Horn in debut was calling on Ben for hometown
rematch in Townsville before lockdown. No word yet if he get his wish.
* Alex Volkananowski in quarantine but on Triple M he said he came in at 77 kg for
Holloway rematch in ring.
* Aust boxing first lockdown fight was a success. Kris George on a fight between
Spark and Paro. " Liam has never fought in Aust with a winning record. Spark
would walk straight through him . " Agree Kris Di Carlo is too smart it would be
Kye Mackenzie vs Chua One all over again.
