Why didn't Lomachenko rematch Salido?

...other than significantly more money then he ended up making in a higher profile fight then he ended up having, of course.

That he would for sure be embarrassed in. Nothing in it for him he can walk away as the only guy to defeat Loma

The only thing Salado will be remembered for is his over weight, ball crushing defeat of Loma. Salado was not willing to give up his legacy by getting No Massed in a rematch.

Ah yes. I can see how 'not being embarrassed' and being 'the guy who beat Loma' is so much better than financial security to a man with a family.

Salido priced himself out knowing full well Loma would destroy him in a rematch.

    This is a troll thread.

This. I don’t think Loma or Arum really wanted that match again, since it wasn’t worth the risk. Also, Loma hasn’t fought a durable pressure fighter since fighting Salido.

Salido from the get go named his price for the rematch, which was $1 million. If Loma and Arum really wanted the rematch it would’ve happened.

There was an agreement between Top rank and Don King promotions. Whoever won would promote the rematch. First one was TR. Tito won on official cards, TR didn't want to go with the rematch w/ DK promoting.

I think everyone knows by now that Salido never wanted any part of Loma again after being so fortunate to win a very close decision even after having all the advantages on him. Would have wanted to see Loma avenge his only loss by giving Salido that work but it is what it is.

Loma was already older too. That happens to both guys for like every rematch.

Either that or he wanted to dine out on that BS lowblow fuelled weight missed win and knew he'd be horrendously outclassed in the rematch.
