I think this thread has run its course , but before it fades out , remember you lost the debate badly. . I also fully understand why you keep running away and ducking - its because you don't want to bring further attention to the topic of Vitali not rematching Byrd.. You have an agenda to protect after all...

    88-83, 88-83, & 89-82

    :deal:

Vitali had no problem in outboxing Byrd.

Harold Lederman, HBO's unofficial judge, had Klitschko ahead 88-83 at the time of the stoppage.

Good point. In my opinion Vitali was ahead 2-3 points only. But Harold is usually a good indicator, so I could be off a little bit

At the end scores do not really matter because Vitali lost the fight. So it kind of a mute point.I felt Byrd was getting to him and then VITALI quit

We know what happened but we do not know what would have happened. So it is a fact Vitali quit and got his face ****ed up.that we do know.the rest is speculation on your part

Byrd took the fight on 8 days notice. He never saw any footage on Vitali. He was outweighed by about 45lbs and made up his gameplan as he went along. .. l

I am not sure this is correct.and I certainly do not remember VITALI issuing any protest over the stoppage. He quit implicitly or excplicitly, it do not matter.I rewatched the tape and it seems to have been a common decision by VITALI together with his team

Vitali quit because he knew Byrd could have stopped him in my opinion.

Klitschko told Sdunek it hurts too much and they then stopped the fight the translator interprets it on You tube ,bottom line he quit.
Vitali can clearly be seen talking to Sdunek and his brother Wlad.
Vitali, "we are giving up,it hurts too much".
    Sdunek,"no its okay".

Bumped for Blade, who did reply for his own reasons:

Okay, let's use YOUR LIST for the moment.

    https://www.sportbible.com/boxing/n...-boxers-of-all-time-have-been-ranked-20200414

    Vitali at #12,

    Holyfield at #11.

Now answer me with all honesty, do you think Bivins, Tunney, and Marciano are all better than Holyfield? YES Or NO. Answer for once and you will have proved my point on " lists "

    12. Vitali Klitschko

    11. Evander Holyfield

PS: You still own me the 10 questions I asked, where is it?

PPS: If I need to, I could go probably www.ru.com and fine boxing articles. Unlike the Ring Magazine, who isn't very pro foreign born fighters and only has north American voters, the ranking will be different.

Byrd talks crap and paid for it. I'm very certain Vitali would have won the re-match. The injury is the reason why Byrd won, that's it.

But since I got you attention, here.s your chance to answer my question for a change, as I don't think Blade will.

A yes or no will do. If you say no, please explain. Simple enough.

1 ) Do you think Holyfield beat Ruiz in the first fight? I say Holy should be 0-2-1...vs Ruiz.

2 ) Do think PED's had anything to do with his trasformation in body tyes from 190 to 210-220?

3 ) Do you agree Holyfield performed worse vs common opponents that Vitali fought?

4 ) Holyfield is 1-4 vs Lewis and Bowe on fair cards. Don't you think Vitali could at least o this well?

5 ) How past it was Mike Tyson? The 1980's version vs. the 1996 version Holyfield beat?

6 ) Can you admit the draw with Lennox Lewis was absolute bogus?

7 ) How much does getting Ko'd by a 5'10" non punching blown up middleweight at age 40 factor into this debate? Toney was in his mid 30's and fat.

8 ) Where would you rank Moorer, in the top 50 if he's even there. He's 1-1 vs Holyfield.

9 ) Do you agree that Holyfield was a dirty fighter using his head often and throwing his share of low blow? The man once bit someone in the amateurs? Yes or no?

10 ) Do you agree that Holyfield had trouble with bigger men in shape with skills?

I don't want to see 10 ducks here. How about 0 for a chance?
