Hard hitting slugger, the guy who smashed Dokes into lala land.
Facing the brawling Sailor, Tom Sharkey, who s just kod Choynski?
Set at 25 rounds with early 1900
    rules and gloves.

I don't think that Sharkey had great style to beat Ruddock. I would like to see more footage of him though. If he troubled Jeffries, he definitely would trouble Ruddock.

Sharkey by late stoppage. Too much pluck and moxie.

I have to go with the Sailor here. He's from the time when men were men!

If Sharkey has the chin go take Ruddock’s smash left then he probably wins. If not then he gets stopped

    Don't forget his gumption.

Tom brought his lunch pail and hard hat to every fight. Tom gave 110%,

    Dear The Seamus,

Your posts frequently brighten my day with joy and laughter.

Plus, no matter which way you slice it, this is a very competitive matchup. Tom Sharkey was one of the best men of his day in a boxing ring.

He's from the time when men were smaller on average and also less skilled.

Choynski hit as hard as Ruddock!
    Tom would stop Ruddock late

Only if "Pluck" and "Moxie" were the names of the prostitutes Sharkey sent to Ruddock's hotel room.

    Ruddock demolishes him.

Ruddock couldn't even beat Lennox Lewis for crying out loud!
