Why do you goons always say “He dragged up Rigo”?? When in REALITY that never happened. Rigo constantly trolled and harassed Loma for that fight. Loma had already moved up well after Rigo priced himself out earlier in their careers. Loma actually reluctantly accepted the fight and never even once used his size to make Rigo quit like a *****.

As for Pac... Loma saw the “He was old doe!” excuses from the Rigo fight and figured it wasn't worth schooling a 40 year old Manny. He would never get full credit for it.

Unofficial weight takes into account weight with clothes on, so it is completely unreliable, as somebody could be wearing cowboy boots and thick winter jacket whilst weighing in.

My point was that Pac NEVER weighed close to 147 on fight night, actual weight, not fight night weight. The proof of this was for his 147 fight, he weighed 142.

That basically means that Pac was told he could weigh up to 147, Pac ate as much as he likes, didn't bother losing weight, and still only came in at 142 officially. So if 142 was his maximum weight, why would he REHYDRATE to 148 fight night, if he WASN'T dehydrated in the first place?? You only dehydrate to make weight, it's obvious Pac wasn't even trying to make weight hence making 142 instead of 147.

It's like telling a HW to dehydrate to 220 when there is no limit, only to rehydrate to 230 fight night.

A decade ago when he was at 130, he was probably around 138 fight night, dehydrating 8lbs to make weight and then rehydrating to 138 fight night + lets say 6lbs in clothes/shoes = 144lbs.

There's no possible way he could actually come into the ring at 144lbs but then go on to weigh 142lbs for the weigh-in for a 147 fight, that would be next to ******ed, why would he voluntarily dehydrate himself?

I pick the 138 because even for the Hatton fight, a 140 limit, he still only weighed 138lb for that. It's like asking Chocalatito to fight at MW, and he weighs in officially at 122lb, do you think he will "rehydrate" to 127lb fight night? lol. There is no water weight to add because he never dehydrated in the first place, 122lb would be his maximum weight, any additional weight would be clothes on.

In fact, 138lb is an over estimation since that was Pac's weight AFTER fights at WW and JWW, which means he packed on muscle since, so he was more likely around 135-136 during 126/130 (he probably weighed the same). In fact, when Pac fought Margarito at 150lb, JMW, he only weighed in at 144lb, again, why did he come 6lbs under the limit? Do you think he "dehydrated"? if he didn't dehydrate, then any additional weight on the unofficial weigh-in could only be clothes since he doesn't have anything to rehydrate with.

Now Pac weighs in for fights at 144-145lb, so he actually does weight that much, and probably weighs the same for fight night, since he's not rehydrating any weight.

Pac has always said he makes 140 easy, and even now he could squeeze in 135, from his own mouth. At the same age, Pac and Loma was fighting at the same weight classes, Pac literally only moved up for the money and then he realised that he had even more of a speed advantage in higher weights so he stayed. But for the most part, Pac and Loma are more or less the same size.

How this is so difficult to understand is beyond me.

You're basically applying the logic of rehydration weight on fight night, to a guy who NEVER dehydrated in the first place at 140+.

Rigondeaux had one good win (Donaire). Pacquaio is a towering figure and active living legend in the sport. Lomachenko and his father knew that he'd get knocked out in a very bad way. That is the ONLY reason he ducked the fight. Everything else was lip service.

Indeed. Pac at the welterweight class was even able to eat Filipino beef stew on a table together with lots of food, along with his family, friends, and other people, before the weigh-ins, televised or video-reported by the Philippine media every time.

Loma is afraid of Pacquiao. He's too small to fight at 140 while Pacquiao is not intetested in fighting Loma at 140. If this fight had taken place at that weight class then Pac could have beaten Loma by way of K.O.

Why would he take the fight other than money? Pac is a Welterweight. Has been for an entire decade. And he's still a very dangerous one, clearly. Loma is a small Lightweight.

He was at 130 and a drag up to 140 would have been a bit too much.

Now that it looks like 135 is his max, the right call was made

How the **** did you add that up? Winning two gold medals is somehow a bad thing? Have you ever watched an Olympic contest? The skill level is far higher than 99% of pro boxing matches.
