Personally. The more likely scenario is this: Canelo fights John Ryder in September and then faces off against Smith in December, however let's say this bout does happen in September.

Canelo would be the big favorite given how Smith looked against Ryder.

Thats EXACTLY why Canelo wants Smith ROFL I'd lay odds he aint got the balls to go to England for either he has to have the NSAC safety net. Notice REAL FIGHTERS & CHAMPIONS like GGG & Pac arent afraid to travel

Oscar & Canelo in talks means nothing. GGG offered him to fight in MSG which is the real Mecca of boxing the reply was a solid "NO!!! Vegas only" Why Vegas only?? I think we all know the reason for that. If I was GGG I'd tell Floyd to take a long walk off a short pier he doesnt need him. The majority of boxing fans still feel GGG was blatantly robbed TWICE!!

Alvarez only fights twice a year so I can't see this. Maybe DAZN will lean on him.

Callum "the bum" Smith got a total gift against Ryder. Disgusting robbery. Clenelo and his team saw it and were licking their chops ready to snatch some more easy belts. Yawn.....

That had something to do with Ryder being a terrible stylistic matc up for Callum, hence why I picked him for the upset. That match has zero to do with this one. Canelo doesn't pose those same kind of issues. Not saying Canelo loses here, but I don't see this going all that different than the Kovalev match, Callum when he uses his jab, like he did against Groves, he can be quite effective in neutralizing his opponents offense. So I could see him being up on the cards, before Canelo gets to him late and stops him. Although I've yet to see any indication of Callum having shaky whiskers, Groves and Ryder have a lot of pop.So Canelo might end up being the recipient of yet another gift here.

Either way it goes. It still involves more Clenelo shennigans. So **** it. This fight should be panned just like anything else this fraud takes part it.

I cant imagine DAZN would be happy paying Canelo $32m to fight someone like Scott Quigley or Jack Ryder (no names in their own country) so they'll force him to take someone like Callum Smith.

Would love for it to be Eubank Jr though
