I honestly forgot that those fights ever even happened. They are both better examples than the older Holmes

I doubt that they were better than Douglas.

I don't think that Douglas' win over Tyson was purely because of Tyson not being at his best, Douglas being at the absolute peak shape of his career definitely played a big role in his victory, but I do also think that Tyson being rather poor that night was also a big factor in Douglas' win

Almost every opponent that Mike Tyson faced tried to move on him ...that was everybody’s game plan ( almost )

Tucker was a better mover than Williams imo. . You could add Spinks as well

Iran Barkley did well against the best movers you'll ever see in Kalambay and Nunn and best long range boxer you'll ever see in Hearns. But top fighters who stood their ground (Duran, Benn, Toney) he struggled more with.

Kostya Tszyu struggled against rugged brawlers who kept it close (Phillips, Hatton), but seemed to excel against movers and guys who were a little more on the slick side (Gonzalez, Hurtado, Mitchell, Judah).

Prime Foreman ( excellent at cutting off the ring, trapping opponents)
Prime Frazier also great at making opponents fight in a box.
Chavez Sr. May have been the best ever at trapping his foes. Look at the opponents he faced, and how relentless and consistently he caught them.
T.Hearns even prime and peak Leonard couldn't keep him at distance , Hearns reach was damn near as wide as the ring itself, with his power and aggression, their was no place to hide.
H.Armstrong. Relentless pressure, beyond human endurance. Sooner or later, the opponents had to fight to win
A.Pryor see Armstrong, but with punching power.
J.Louis, other than a damn near perfect performance from B.Conn ( Louis did catch him) was great at cutting the ring off.... He said "he can run but he can't hide"
C.Mouzon another Relentless fighter who probably could've fought 25rds without much stress. Pressure, pressure, pressure. Opponents would wear down. Fight over.
R.Duran a few runners gave him issues in his prime . But in the end, he won.
Same can be said about A.Arguello though he did lose to an exceptional mover. But 99% percent of the time. He'd catch the opponent .
A few add on names. C.Zarate, P.Cuevas, R.Olivares. J Mugabi prior to Hagler.
Prime Tyson hand and foot speed was extraordinary.
R.Marciano, simply a punching machine in his era, carried his power all 15rds. Sooner or later he'd catch the opponents.
Their have been many fighters that, outside of extremely gifted movers that had little problems with tracking opponents, and forcing them to engage.

Excellent mention, can't believe I forgot him! What he did in the rematch with Zapata is terrifying.

The only mover on that list was Ibrigamov and that was one the worst title fights ever. Williamson , iggy , Jennings and Fury. Wlad struggles with movers.

Ken Norton did better against boxers than he did against punchers
