How can anyone seriously think Canelo > Usyk? It just doesn't make sense

Usyk beats the best in the world without controversy or cheating.

Canelo fiddles his way around everything, breaks every rule in the book, exploits everything he can and has the best management in the world protecting him, and still can't beat his best opponents without question marks.

Putting the best division in the world on a leash with near ease is certainly more impressive than picking and choosing your way through boxing.

Yup yup. Usyk never needed judges or dubious stipulations to win, and he was never the A side or the Home fighter.

    Glowacki in Poland
    Hunter in USA
    Huck in Germany
    Breidis in Latvia
    Gassiev in Russia
    Bellew in UK

You’d be hard pressed to find a man in boxing history that has a resume like that

This is a stupid thread. Hands down Canelo has the best resume of the two.
Even if you think Golovkin beat Canelo in both fights, surly you would have to admit he held his own?
Who the hell has Usyk beaten?

Who have any of the above fighters listed above beaten to be considered such amazing wins for Usyk?
Huck was decent ten years before Usyk beat him. Bellow beat a broken old Haye.
    Buts that’s about it.

i also laugh every time they use the foreign soil as proof of superiority, like its all about the challenge and not the money. you travel cause you cant make people money in your backyard all by yourself.
uzyk is good, but the people hes beaten are nobodies, in the big picture. hes talked about like he went through the most stacked division in boxing, and i wouldnt care if i never saw any of those guys fight again. 20 years from now, most arent gonna remember who they are. none of them have proven to be an A class fighter, or even looked it.

Canelo, outside vegas, would have lost to GGG both times. Possibly Lara and Trout as well.
Can't say the same about Usyk considering he fought in his opponent's backyard.

so who goes around measuring would haves? canelo has fought at least 3 A level fighters, when uzyk fights his first, we will see how he handles the step up. till then, whats there really to compare? compare wins over B level fighters?

Not everyone agrees with you on those controversies. That's honestly it, and with that, Canelo fought better competition. I personally do think a lot of his wins are tainted but I still rate his achievements ahead of Usyk.

Absolutely, when talking about taking the risk to fight in another fighters backyard does it come into consideration. Usyk cleared out cruiserweight, Canelo had controversy after controversy and certainly did not clear out a division.

You are in a minority thinking Canelo beat Golovkin.
Talking about GGG, the vast majority do agree Golovkin got robbed.
