    Interesting fight.

I will take Duran from the Buchanan fight again the Pryor from the Alexis I fight.

Duran can match the pace of Pryor and power. He may be at a disadvantage in the chin department because of the weight disadvantage.

Still Duran is the better puncher in term of variety and accuracy. He is also a better defender and body puncher.

I think I go with Duran in a street fight because I think Pryor will have ignited a different kind of fire in Duran that would have pushed him to volume punching and defensive alertness.

I would go with Pryor, but not wide and not with great confidence. I could see either guy winning, but would edge towards Pryor by a hair. There styles seem like this would be an exciting fight either way.

We all win. Every single soul who watches this brawl.

"Hands of stone" - vs. - "Snot box of rocks"

Lean towards Duran but Pryor has some co ky ee nay to get sorted first.

If Alexis was able to mix it up with Pryor, and land steadily, what is a bigger stronger, better defensively fighter like Duran going to do? I think hurt Pryor, and it won't look pretty. It's not that Pryor wouldn't land, or has his moments, but not enough, and there better be more than an black bottle around to change this outcome in my mind.

    This thought is interesting.

It sounds good but my I don’t think Duran hit anywhere near as hard as Alexis and Alexis of course hit Pryor with some bombs and Pryor just smiled.

I think I may be tempted to switch my perspective if the right argument came along.

    Example:

What would happen if Pryor took Duran’s best punches and laughed (this is possible) and then came at Duran with an all out assault mixed with lateral movement and boxing.

I actually this from the fighters I’ve seen Duran is the great infighter ever and one of the best counter punchers but he will be up against a puncher that hits just as hard as him, and is as tough.

I wonder if Duran can’t hurt Pryor and also has to play defense a lot more than he would like would Pryor get the benefit of of close rounds? Perhaps hurt Duran a few times (possible because Aaron miles beyond DeJesus)

I'm favoring Pryor here, as he was at his peak for the Arguello fight and Duran was six years from his. The Duran of 1978-1980 that was the hybrid acme of swarming aggression & defense beats Pryor decisively.

Duran weather's everything pryor throws at him and stops him late. He's just a better fighter, physically stronger and has the style advantage. I don't think Arguello hit harder than Duran and was way easier to hit himself so if he can give pryor problems I think Duran is just too much
