Just mind your P's and Q's with " them " and you'll be fine. I'm gunning for you to pass Dino for most mistakes in this thread, as your a pure hater type, not confined to Klitschko but to many past heavyweights with lighter skin. If you need help you'll always have Ranier, and Tonto62.
The only thing you can say for Briggs against Liakhovich is that he had just that little bit more in the 12th. But Liakhovich had been in a war with Brewster, the fight before that, and I don't think he was ever the same again (and was still beating Briggs until the last minute). To my mind, despite the last-second win, that fight showed Briggs was pretty much done. But - yeah - the Ibragimov bout confirmed it beyond doubt and helped make it official when Briggs retired.
I get it. 10 yes or no questions is too much but you'll spend time in this thread for a while. I think Holy's an over rated great fighter due to too many inconstant performances vs lesser men, PED's and times a dirty fighter. He was also very luck on the cards twice in fight he should have lost that were called draws.
I just don't do requests. Everyone on this thread already knows what you think and most of it has nothing to do with how a prime Holyfield and Vitali K fight would go. I would back a prime Holyfield to beat any version of Vitali. Holyfield had the better opposition and performances to demonstrate that. It's not a difficult pick.
Holyfield is a loser vs. the best he fought, he only had lots of chances. He was on PED's so downgrading him. Vitali beat his comeption much cleaner, and did better vs common opponents. He was never behind in a fight. Holy should be 0-2 vs Lewis 1-2 vs Bowe and I could argue the second fight which had a 17 minute break helped him and a draw was acceptable;e. 1-1 vs Moorer Should be 0-2-1 vs Ruiz Was floored by Cooper. Ko'd by a middle weight that was not known for power. Beat a 40+ Holmes and Foreman, but not without each guy having their moments. Oh, yeah, he did beat a post prison Tyson.
There's really no need to go over all this again. Holyfield faced better opposition and delivered better performances than Vitali.
Wrong. Hoyfield cleary won 3rd fight vs Ruiz, it was easy to score. 8-4 or at very least 7-5 for Holyfield. And he was 39 and 17 years as a pro at that time
Your mind is failing you again Menducka. . Holyfield did better against Lewis than Vitali did... Even Frank Bruno did better than Vitali and both of them fought prime versions of Lewis.. Vitali fought the worst version of Lewis that ever entered the ring.
These^ are the types of references to ledger, i.e. actual fights and their context, which matter in speculative head-to-head match-ups.
Wrong way to look at it. He took both fights on short notice, and despite a torn shoulder and bad cut was beating both of them. You can't say oh, Holyfield is at his best and say Vitali is hurt in a fantasy match up. Vital won 4 rounds vs Lewis in a six round limit. Holyfield won 4 rounds out of 12. Upon reflection of his carer, Lewis say Vitlai was his toughest opponent. Indeed Vitali had him hurt ( which Holy never did ) and gassing due to the pace. Lewis was also cut, just not over the eye, and the more swollen of the two.
Have you figured out Briggs age yet? LOL, Dino keep up the one liners and while your at it you can show us the re-match clause? I've only asked for it 4 times. Vitlai retired Lewis, Lewis ran from the re-match while tying to make fights with others.
