Camarelle and Nistor at HW. Nistor I believe has turned pro, but way too late and he looks like garbage compared to his amateur and WSB days. This guy was an absolute beast, the nearest fighter I've seen to Marciano in decades. Brutal aggressive style, knocked out Joshua and gave Usyk fits. Camarelle reminded me of a southpaw Corrie Sanders, very fast hands for a big man and packed some real power when he let shots fly. Should have beaten Joshua in the Olympic finals but got jobbed on the cards (along with Savon earlier in the tourney; one of the main reasons I was extremely slow to warm to Joshua).
Stevenson would have been interesting to see as a pro... though his competition would have been insane with Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Lyle, Ellis, Young, Quarry etc
Two schools of thought on Stevenson: one said his skills would be trouble for any HW ... tall, rangy, long jab, good power The other, that he only faced amateurs, and fresh ones at that - few veterans with experience - and wouldn't be able to handle the pressure and skill set of a pro. No way of truly knowing, we've seen both play out with other Olympians who turned pro - still, fun to ponder
Oleg Saitov ( Russia) Francisc Vastag (Romania) Kenny Egan (Ireland) Gaydarbek Gaydarbekov (Russia) Clemento Russo (Italy) Vitaly Dunaystev (Russia) Oleg Saitov (Russia) Vassily Levit ( Kazakhstan) and Majidov and Papp when they was younger!
As others have said the late Teofilo Stevenson, in his prime with those skills and attributes honed by a top pro trainer, now that would have been a damned interesting addition to this era of heavyweights. Alas we will never know what could have been.
