This is delusional Holyfield fanboys fantasy. Both Lewis fights were borderline shutouts for Lennox outside of when he took breathers
So - two Championship bouts that were nearly shutouts for Lewis (but weren't) and would have actually been shutouts, if Lewis hadn't have paced himself?
Holyfield only had success when Lewis took breathers. Very easy work. Lennox's only enemy in those bouts was his lack of roadwork
8-4 for Lewis in both fights. You really don't think that Draw was just, do you? IMO Holfyield got two lucky draws, one from Lewis, the other from John Ruiz in the first fight .
No, delusion is thinking Holyfield lost by shutout in the rematch. He clearly performed a lot better , won more rounds , landed good hooks /right hands and even stun-locked Lewis a few times. His body attack would have been more effective if Lewis wasn't wearing ridiculously high trunks. He wore those high padded trunks for a reason. Vitali by contrast had his head repeatedly pelted back like a pez dispenser by the most sluggish and sloppiest Lewis that was ever seen. .
I do think the second bout saw a renewed vigor from Holyfield, whilst Lewis waltzed in, complacent and without a strategy. Holyfield had made some adjustments too. He was moving more (which was anathema to the laxer Lewis) and jabbing with a little more purpose. There were a few subtle factors, which shifted the complexion of fight 1 to that of fight 2. But, the most obvious one was Lewis dispensing with the jab early in the second bout and giving Holyfield opportunities to engage with more success. He also didn't apply as much pressure to Holyfield, second-time around - it was a notably less intense performance. But, Holyfield still needed to capitalize on those opportunities, afforded him by this change - and he did - making it a closer fight
Why do you even bother asking such patently daft questions? There's absolutely nothing in the post you have responded to, which would give cause for anyone with an ounce of savvy to ask that.
But that's every fantasy match with Vitali in it, ever. You should know that: 1) Vitali always tears his rotator cuff by the 4th in a fantasy match, and 2) 50% of the rest of the time his face randomly falls off and 3) He's basically a worse version of Gonzalez that can't infight Holyfield by contrast is always the best possible version and never the one that got clipped by Cooper, sent to the hospital by Moorer, befuddled by Czyz or smothered by Ruiz. AKA the prime Evan Fields version who innocently received boxes of steroids by mistake.
it seems like you still can not get your facts right.Holyfield actually won the first Ruiz fight. It was the third Ruiz which was scored a draw and most observers felt Holyfield won that one.
you can talk all you want.his best wins are against a washed up Peter and an old/fat Sanders. He lost against the best two opponents he faced in a faded Lewis and the light hitting Byrd.It was funny how the small Byrd walked the giant down.Prime Holyfield would have beaten both. His brother Wlad should be ranked higher.Better resume and better boxing skills.
Vitali had a week more training for the Lewis fight than Lewis did,he was already due to fight. Byrd was the one who took the Klit fight on short notice You attempted this BS before sayingLewis was the more marked up then I posted post fight pictures of them in the ring.Vitali had 3 cuts and a total of 64 stitches. No more lies please! https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...934ACB13583CB4F726E0934&view=detail&FORM=VIRE This link has Vitali saying he knew Lewis was not in condition and was too heavy. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Lewis+v+Vitali+post+fight+pics&pc=MAARJS&httpsmsn=1&msnews=1&refig=541cacba13814cb99605882522382620&sp=-1&pq=lewis+v+vitali+post+fight+&sc=0-26&qs=n&sk=&cvid=541cacba13814cb99605882522382620&ru=/search?q=Lewis+v+Vitali+post+fight+pics&form=PRACER&pc=MAARJS&httpsmsn=1&msnews=1&refig=541cacba13814cb99605882522382620&sp=-1&pq=lewis+v+vitali+post+fight+&sc=0-26&qs=n&sk=&cvid=541cacba13814cb99605882522382620&view=detail&mmscn=vwrc&mid=FE2F03EDE279F48C6912FE2F03EDE279F48C6912&FORM=WRVORC This content is protected
No Vitali is a loser because he lost against the best 2 opponents he fought. The one was faded and the other one took the fight on a week’s notice. Holyfield’s wins over Tyson, Bowe, Moorer and Douglas are better than anything on Vitali’s record.
