100%. Wilder has shown a suspect chin by being hurt but non punchers. Molina put him on ice skates. Although Ortiz has decent power he had him out on his feet from a right hook which didn’t look like he had his weight through it at all. He was all over the place against Fury even before the knock down. I have no doubt in my mind Wilder never would have taken those big shots and punishment AJ took from Wlad. He’s just not durable or tough enough. He’s avoided punchers his whole career for a reason.
Only Wlad, Ruiz and Whyte. Two of which are top 3 punchers and both landed their signature KO shots which have knocked out many in the past. Was never hurt or in trouble against Povetkin, Parker, Takam, Martin.
Even the amatuer footage that was posted. Same thing again. Gets caught with a left hook...then everything goes. Balance out the window. Stamina gone. Power goes a good bit. Gets stopped thirty seconds later. The thing that keeps joshua in these fights is his sheer size etc...and opponents still being wary of him or being too old to throw the kitchen sink at him. That was till ruiz tho. I m counting recovery in with chin tbh. They are connected. You cant really talk about chin without talking about the recovery from getting hit on the chin. As i said hes got a lot going for him...hes spent most of the time beating down opponents...gave out far more than hes ever took back. Yet hes still been hurt too many times considering. The klitchko left hook that kicked it all off was hardly spotted by anyone because no one expected it to do enough damage. Again go back and watch the 5th round from start to finish. Carl froch notices it. Not many other people did...they thought he tired with the work he put in. Ruiz punch was decent...but he just did not recover at all. A green Whyte without a proper trainer etc could well have had him out of there if he never injured his right shoulder going in for the kill. The amatuer guy shouldnt have caused that much damage with the left hand with big gloves and a headguard. We,ve seen the same thing from joshua again...he starts to fall apart. Luckily his determinations been getting him through.. But regardless his chins a massive weakness. Surprised its up for debate. Almost everything goes from him and it does for too long at that level. Luckily his fighing heart, size etc keeps him in there. But his chins still not good enough. Its his achilles heel.
Wilder has been knocked clean out in the amateurs while AJ was still standing but you don’t go after Wilder. Only mention Joshua’s chin. I’ll repeat myself. If he had a bad chin that shot from Wlad would have iced him and he wouldn’t have gotten up. Joshua ate the same left hooks from Wlad as Pulev did but nobody mentions Pulevs chin. I swear some people just have an agenda to **** on Joshua. I made a clip because of people like you saying he has a bad chin. Max says it as well that Klitschko is used to people falling down when he lands those left hooks but Joshua was able to take them. He was tired as well while Pulev was fresh. His chin is decent. Its the initial hurting him thats the problem. That and his reaction to it. Guys get put over at heavyweight as we,ve seen with pulev and joshua and wilder and fury etc. But its rare we see the kind of reaction that happens to joshua when hes hurt...thats the big difference. Wilder has done chicken dances....but he recovers fairly quickly. Same with fury who,s been put over. Pulev got straight back up ready to fight until he couldnt...he was overmatched against that version of klitchko. Most guys shake it off fairly quickly. On the otherhand....joshua has a bad reaction as i,ve said before its like hes fighting in quicksand and takes too long to recover. The only thing thats kept him in these fights is whyte injuring his shoulder. Klitchko trying to conserve energy....his size and his fighting heart. Even then ruiz completely dismantled him cause he was young enough to pressure him after hurting him. But surely you can see his reaction is bad....klitchko hurt him initially with an average left hook. From there it was a case of joshua hanging on for dear life and being unabld to get his senses together for a good few rounds. Thats too long at that level. Klitchko made the mistake of boxing him and letting him get his senses back. Guys that aren,t 42 wont do that tho. Joshuas similar to khan chin wise. Khan takes too long to recover and the initial shot that hurts him doesnt have to be mindblowing. In both of their defences tho they fight it out. Hang on and often get themselves out of it....doesnt mean there isnt still a chin issue. Its glaringly obvious joshua has one. His promoter knows it. His training team also know it. You can tell by the moves they make.
Pulev got dropped by every one of those left hooks and AJ was still standing but I bet you’ll some how say Pulev has a better chin. His chin is not on Khans level at all. Mate you’re daft asf. You think you know what you’re talk about but you don’t. That shot Wlad landed is a KO shot on most heavyweights including Wilder, Pulev, Ortiz etc. AJ did well to get up from it. That’s the only shot to the chin he’s took that has had him in a really bad way. Wilder would have woke up in a hospital bed if Wlad landed that 100%
Go watch the 5th round of klitchko v joshua again. Theres a shot that initially puts joshua in a bad way. A left hook to the chin i m sure it was. Joshua slows down from there. Stamina goes. Power goes. Doesnt fully recover for rounds. On the otherhand pulev went down hard twice from a younger/stronger klitchko...hes in a bad way...by the second round hes got his faculties intact tho. Thats the big difference. Joshuas still recovering from ruiz,s first temple shot. He just never did. It took him about 4 rounds from klitchko,s 5th round left hand. Its too long. I m not going down the route of temple/shot or chin shot...tbh regardless what it is joshuas gets hurt easier than most and he definetely takes longer to recover. Unlike pulev tho...joshua still has something to keep you off with his strength/size and although his powers fades its still to be respected. Pulev doesnt have any power. Klitchko had free reign safe in the knowledge...nothing dangerous was coming back. I m amazed its still up for debate. Even after ruiz...people have noticed it for ages. I m surprised ruiz was the one to do it cause that should be an easy fight for joshua with what joshuas got going for him. As should have been a 42 year old klitchko and a green whyte without a trainer. And povetkin who,s about five foot ten. They should be easy fights. Their not tho...cause his chins a big weakness. Stick joshua in with big punchers....even guys not at the very top level....he,ll get upset more times than people think. Khan is the exact same...gets hurt...hangs on till he cant. Prescott leathered him with great shots. Nothing you can do about it. But the garcia fight was almost a carbon copy of ruiz. The only difference is joshuas got the power to keep the lesser guys away. The guys khan was getting hurt from.
I bet you’re one of their dudes who thinks GGG could take a shot from a heavyweight better than Joshua. You’re not smart and you’re just biased against Joshua. I’ve shown you evidence of AJ taking the same shots Pulev took but not get dropped and sparked but you say Pulev has a better chin. You’re pathetically biased. Or you’re just really stupid.
You rewatched the 5th round yet. The funny thing is the guy your slagging off in pulev. Is the guy next in line to fight joshua. Come on man....theres a reason pulevs next and its not because hes mandatory. He couldnt hit the skin off a rice pudding. They had joshua running for his life against ruiz. The trainer knows. The promoter knows. Most guys that watch boxing know. Look at lennox...got embarrasingly knocked out. It can happen at heavyweight...went out and leathered mcall and rahman in the rematch. On the otherhand joshua ran away knicking points off a guy who turned up grossly overweight. Who was overweight to start with. 5 or 6inches smaller with a much smaller reach. People are telling me joshuas fundamentally good. So hes fundamentally good. Hes strong as an ox. Great size. Powerful. Fast for his size. Trains like an animal. Lives in the gym...with top trainers. Olympic champion. Now hes got a good chin. Whats letting him down against ruiz then. Why are these guys that are either over the hill...or average at best...even hurting him regularly. The only guys that have punched him back is a 42 year old klitchko, povetkin, whyte and ruiz. They,ve all hurt him...not just hirt him but two of them had him reeling and ruiz finished him. Whyte had him reeling as did a 42 year old klitchko. And povetkin who,s about five foot ten wobbled him. Molina, parker, breazeale hardly landed a punch the rest of his opponents have been part time fighters in comparison.
He was gassed out you dafty. You could see before he took it it was tired and couldn’t move that well. “Momentarily stunned him”. Look at his legs. They didn’t go weak or look like he was out on his feet. Just very tired from trying to go for the kill. You are incredibly biased. He’s still throwing back and even took a bomb left hooks at 1:45 and 1:06 I’ve proven your wrong here and I want you to admit that.
Go rewatch round 5 as well. He took so much punishment. Left hooks straight rights. Still stayed on his feet. Wilder, Pulev, Ortiz all would have been stopped that round 100%.
As i,ve said before....joshua to his credit fights back. Hes a big powerful unit. Still can punch when hurt...so can khan tho. Doesnt mean his chins solid. Nothing to do with joshua being tired out...that left hook starts the ball rolling. Stamina goes. Starts looking vulnerable. The same vulnerability we,ve seen in that amatuer fight. Hes all over the place. Joshua can do 12 rounds. He actually fights at s decent pace. Theres nothing wrong with joshuas fitness conyrary to what most people think. Its when he gets hurt...his stamina completely goes on him. People think its just cause hes tired. Guys used to turn up thinking i,ll move around till he tires then stick it on him. Joshua will go 12 no problem...did against ruiz 2 and parker...neither hurt him thats the difference. Done it no problem at all. Ask yourself the times you,ve seen joshua tired. After whyte hurts him. After klitchko hurts him. After ruiz hurts him the first fight and that amatuer guy hurts him i know that because joshuas stamina always goes when he gets hurt. Takes him too long to recover. The amatuer guy knew the script and stopped him 30 seconds later. Whyte knew it as well but injured his shoulder going for the kill. Klitchko made an error in judgement by standing off him for too long at times and ruiz comlletely punished him. Young guys will make him pay for it.
But you’re point that he’s out on his feet after taking that initial left hook is flawed because afterwards he takes 2 bigger left hooks and a straight right down the pipe while coming in all in round 5. Surely if he had a bad chin and was already badly hurt those shots would have finished him off? I’ve proven you wrong yet again.
Povetkin and Parker hurt him. He wasn't badly wobbled or in danger of being dropped, but he was definitely hurt.
