Hope springs eternal. Hopefully we get a good nights boxing, some competitive fights, an upset, some choice Dempseyisms with everyone enjoying good reception from his hair mast. Frank pays his fighters, that fit bird looks fit, Steve bunce is prevented from going on a rampage and daniel Dubois manages to get through the terrifying task of reading two lines of pre prepared guff for the upcoming fight.
Crazy that literally no one beside boxing fans know these fights are on. The actual level of promotion is a joke. Dubois vs Joyce has an opportunity to be marketed massively here but no sod is going to watch them knock out to bums to build the fights
Haven't heard anything from Gorman himself but I did see Warren's other young heavyweight, David Adeleye (unsure of the spelling) call him out. Dunno if they'd be willing to risk a prospect in a real fight so soon, but it'd be an interesting match up I think.
Saw something from Warren hunting that they dont want too much promotion until they are happy with overall setup in the studio. So potentially from show 3 onwards there will be.
Boxing is so frustrating at times, we should be getting Frampton vs Conlan. A good crossroads fight and a local derby during a time when we're all starved of proper fights. Instead we get both of them in fights that nobody wants on the same card. Sigh.
