Haney vs. Gamboa possible

    If this is Haney's next fight, it's a joke. Handed a title without having to earn it and has never fought a true world-class fighter. For comparison Garcia is fighting Campbell. I like DH, but if you wanna be a champion act like one and fight like one against world-class opponents. I have never seen a fighter handed so much for nothing. Not even close.

    Looks like it's gonna happen.

    Loma is fighting Lopez.

    Garcia is fighting Campbell.

    Haney, just given a belt, hasn't fought let alone beat top 15 guy, makes his 1st "defense" against a 40 year old Cuban coming off a KO loss where he ruptured his friggin Achilles.

    To top it off, no other fighter in boxing has run their mouth anywhere near as much as this clown, even the ones who earned that right. He hasn't earned a thing and keeps getting presents dropped in his lap.

    And he is making close to, not if a solid 1mil per fight :lol: ****ing hell.
    And it´s not like everyone is tied up at the moment. Guys like Mendy are always available.

    He tried to fight Lomachenko but he never wanted it, so who does he fight for a title shot he earned?
    I was hoping it would be Salido so he could beat up Loma's ring daddy in better fashion and upstage him.

    It's a desperate move.

    All top lightweight fighters are toward big fights. Loma vs Lopez. Campbell vs Garcia. Linares vs Fortuna. Tank vs Santa Cruz.

    He needs a fight that has less risk and winnable, but still a good name to sell.

    There isn't really a tonne of LWs free at the moment

    Loma's ring daddy would be by far and away the best fighter he fought. He's a few steps up in class than Gamboa's grandmother. The top 15 means best 15 fighters yet this kid keeps plucking his opponents outside the top 50. And he was handed a belt, how did he earn it? Who did he beat.

    Your post reads like a fangirl bichfit instead of a knowledgeable fans post.
