Byrd adapted. . Vitali was not able to adapt and looked very tired from Byrds body punches.. If Vitali wasn't so tired he might have stayed in the fight.
No, this was in 2012 after the Wlad fight. I can't comment on what type of money being offered but: Vitali, elder brother of Wladimir — who defeated Haye in Hamburg last summer — scoffed at the prospect of a controversial fight between Haye and Dereck Chisora, planned for Upton Park in July: “Haye-Chisora? The biggest heavyweight fight out there? The Haye-Chisora is a fight between two losers. Haye lost to Wladimir, Chisora lost to me. I offered Haye a fight for September, but he obviously does not want to fight me. He ducked out to face Chisora instead. The fight between them has no meaning in the sport.”
This thread is so childish. It's just diluted down to personal attacks against Vitali rather than any interest in analysing styles or likelyhood of how a fight would go.
The point you were addressing was a suggestion of bias in the scoring, which you disagreed with in your counterpoint. You then declare that you gave Vitali every round. I understand the point just fine.
You can't win decisions in Germany. Everybody knows that. Only Virgil Hill managed by Don King did that. I normally agree with Lederman but not on this occasion. Merchant was always a Byrd hater and was rooting for a white heavyweight at tghe time.
That one was clear cut.I have seen a lot fighters getting robbed in Germany. It is a disgusting thing or are you going to defend it?
