This puny Usyk will be trapped in the corner, and given a severe beating by these huge overweight behemoths. Chisora might not be the one to do it, but its coming pretty soon....
Usyk ain't stopping anybody. Ring circle jib jab job whilst Dereck plods forward If this man has any struggles with Dereck he will fast track himself for that AJ payday then get out of the HW division
Chisora is having an indian summer to his career now that he's getting into shape.... wouldn't be surprised to see him rough Usyk up at times in this. As good as Usyk is, I wouldn't completely overlook Del Boy like some are.
I think Usyk is going to take Chisora to pieces. If he struggles, then I agree you are right, he will cash in on a big fight and get out of dodge.
Look it's a total no brainer that usyk is the better boxer in most departments. Saying that tho old del boy does have a pretty solid chin, seen him take some big shots consistently over the years and still has decent power. Can't see usyk having the power to ok him personally. So got a puncher's chance.. But realistically if del don't super glue usyk's feet to the canvas before the first bell, I see him struggling to land many big shots and getting outclassed technically for 12 rounds.
The problem with Chisora is he isn't that intimidating on the inside...or the outside... It's the mid range where he will typically throw the same punches and a looping right hand that are dangerous. Usyk won't get stuck on the ropes or let him trade though. Usyk will establish the rangy stuff and just move on him.
But let's admit that Chisora is not all that. Ages ago, the top crusier (Haye) handled him decisively. He has numerous decisive losses on his record.
I think the real question here is will this fight ever actually happen? Usyk will win every round. Chisora has had a good third act, but even in his prime, he was a swarmer who doesn't always swarm much. Good career considering his lack of talent, but I think he is almost finished.
It's a waste of time for Usyk and an unnecessary risk. The reason it's a waste of time is that Chisora in no way resembles the opponents he's working towards. You couldn't get a more different physique and style than either Joshua/Fury/Wilder. If you going to pick the HW that least resembles any of the top three in all categories, it would be Chisora. That's how redundant it is to fight Chisora for any kind of preparation, adjustment etc. You can argue it's worth it for the money, but I think it's a ridiculous fight. He'll get no credit for beating Chisora, and there is always a chance Chisora lands something lucky or comes in fuelled by a special Haye milkshake. Imagine if Usyk got beat by old Chisora, what a disaster that would be. So why even risk it, wait for a fight against a better rated opponent.
Not to say that he will be taking it lightly, but I don't think that Oleksandr Usyk will be viewing it as much of a risk. You're right in saying that Dereck Chisora is nothing like the top 3, but who is, and who is that would be free or willing to challenge him? You'd need to go right down the list for someone who is only similar in terms of dimensions. On the other hand, such an opponent, like a Gerald Washington, wouldn't provide any resistance whatsoever and it wouldn't be a money maker.
