Could Cooper's left hook find RJJ's chin?

Roy with a first round knockout .
Why all this hate for Jones lately .
Probably a lot of posters were not even born when he was fighting and focus on the losses when he was past his prime.

    No
It was an instinctive reaction because of all those haters around here.
Roy by stoppage between round 6-8 by accumulation of punches ,
This would be a heavyweight version of Gatti - Mayweather

A heavyweight version of Gatti v Mayweather hahahahaha get a grip of yourself.

Your basing Roy at HW off of a win over the all mighty John Ruiz.

Cooper had the greatest HW of all time seeing stars so don't be surprised if Roy is staring up at the lights either.

I think that RJJ may be too fast for the British fighter.

Well according to Ali, Cooper "hit him so hard that he jarred my kinfolk in Africa" so if Cooper could put his left hook on Alis chin, then see no reason he could not do the same to RJJ.

Who would win i don't know as RJJ sure was a standout boxer, however Cooper always entered the ring in shape and prepared, a workman like professional, this something regrettably that cannot be said for some fighters nowadays.

If had to make a prediction i would say either Cooper by ko or RJJ on cuts.

Cooper caught Ali who was more mobile then Roy so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he could catch Roy... but prime Roy’s hand speed was insane. So I agree with a previous post that its either Roy wins by cuts or Cooper wins by Ko. Cooper was a game fighter and would not stop moving at him. The problem would be Roy’s athleticism and speed.

And that's the thing. If and it is a big if but, if Cooper connects, RJJ is waking up on a stretcher. On top of that, Cooper was a strong guy for his size hanging with Bugner who was verging on SH dimensions for the time for the full distance in an energy sapping kind of fight.

RJJ should win due to superior speed, technique and Coopers tendency to bleed but to totally dismiss Cooper is foolhardy.

I think Jones would absolutely school Cooper. Cooper was stopped by Floyd Patterson and you could have said that Cooper floored Ali so he would have Patterson on his back counting the stars. RJJ was just as fast as Patterson.

Patterson looked far better at heavy than Roy did, Ruiz caught Jones at times but wouldn`t have layed a glove on Patterson who was a far more dangerous heavy than Roy.
