Man I hope you are right, as I would love to see him have success and contend. But I just can't see it for him, ESPN was giving him a ton of hype on their summer series. I don't think he has enough to get in to the top 10.
Its a cliché, but styles make fights and I don't think each performance you mentioned matters too much if they were to meet Hunter gets sloppy late in a fight though and that's where AJ would more than likely stop him I think he gives him fits the first four rounds however I think Hunter will if granted an opportunity cause an upset amongst the top 5 He is kind of stuck in the who needs him club, high risk and low reward Or higher risk than the moneys worth anyway
Nationality clearly means something to you. what exactly do you anticipate having in common with "some random euro boxer"?
Anything and everything. A lot more than I have in common with Ruiz. Wilder is one of my favorite boxers, but the honest truth is I have zero in common with him. Nationality used to mean something. Now it doesn't.
Boxing is simply not popular or accessible in America especially amongst pro atheletes 6'4 230+ who can compete in much more lucrative and much less violent sports.
I'm closer culturally to a white guy who grew up in Sweden than I am with a Mexican guy born on the US border who waves the Mexican flag. You used to be able to watch the Olympics and see representatives of your people up there competing. That's all gone. You can watch long distance running and it's just a bunch of Kenyans wearing different colored flags. Who cares. You act like I'm trying to be subtle or dance around an issue. I'm not. You are. If you have a question or accusation, say it.
haha wtf are you talking about. Have you ever bothered to look at boxrec ever! USA Have 350 CURRENT PRO ACTIVE HEAVYWEIGHTS. That's far,far more than any other country!! In Ukraine for example they have only 30, UK has 47, yet still they have better heavyweights than USA. There can be no excuses when you have so many heavyweights! USA heavyweights get everything on a plate - the best trainers, best facilities, all the promoters, all the TV deals, all your amateurs turn pro They get everything on a plate. Yet they still fail. They are just not good enough. Too much quantity and not enough quality,
Michael Hunter is the latest Great Black Hope then? after Fury demolished the last one Deontay Wilder. or is it this Jared Anderson guy?
Who cares if 350 american bums decided to turn pro? Those 350 guys are cast offs from other sports that are it with zero hope of ever making it to the top level of the sport. The fact that Deontay Wilder was able to bronze medal against the "best in the world" 2 3 years removed from being a trucker with zero boxing experience should tell you something.
I'm asking you to name something specific. You aren't. Name something specific you assume you would have in common with Wallin that you would not with Ruiz. What part of swedish culture do you enjoy in your personal life?
