Someone said something similar to this last week but I think it's way too early to say right now, if he wasn't Ricky's son we'd have never heard of him because he is yet to do anything.

Dennis Mccann, Michael Conlan, Willy Hutchinson, Joshua Buatsi, Daniel Dubois, Pat Mccormack, Niall Farrell, Peter McGrail, Frazer Clarke

It'll be one or two of those I reckon.

All good boxers with real talent, but what one of them has star quality?

I think Pat Mccormack and Dennis Mccann would be my picks. Both look like stand out talents.

Mccann is only 19 and has everything including power.

Mccormack is one of the top p4p amateur fighters right now. Exceptional all rounder who has medalled in every major tournament in the youths and in the seniors, won WSB boxer of the year, was nominted for young sports personality of the year etc.

Can any of them cross over to the mainstream public? that separates great Boxer from a star

I personally don't see anyone on the horizon that will become as accessible to the public as AJ and now Fury

AJ is more marketable than any other British boxer or indeed sportsman right now, even after a slip up. The problem for Tyson Fury is that he's currently enjoying a trajectory as he gets built up, along with his dad, but it's all going to come crashing down the second he or his dad slips up, which they will, you just know he's one stupid comment away from this all unravelling and whilst he can still keep his career on track, from a star perspective he's always going to lose out to AJ unless the goldenboy does something absolutely ridiculous.

Dubois, should be right up there in the next five years.

I'm not seeing any other fighters around his age coming through at Heavyweight, well not with the same sort of force.

Somebody might spring up from nowhere but I'm not seeing it right now.

There are a few fighters that should still be around.. in 5 years these fighter will be

    Parker 33
    AJ 35
    Ruiz 35
    Fury 36
    Whyte 37

    Luis Ortiz 133 years old.

So depending on what AJ and Fury do, Dubois could be the main man in the UK.

I think AJ and Fury will still be around so they are the obvious two. Off the back of them, you have Dubois.

Josh Taylor is arguably the best British fighter around right now but I think he'll be out of the game by then.

    Buatsi is a shout.

Josh Buatsi could be the best of the lot. If Alvarez is still popping in and out of Light Heavyweight in 18 months time I doubt he'll take Josh on.
With a couple of exciting wins he could have fans queueing round the block for tickets. he's got a great all round game and carries a huge whack. He already carries himself like a Champion too.

I remember at the time attending amateur shows and seeing Ted Cheeseman box. I thought he looked like a real talent! A lot of trainers at the the time we’re saying he would go all the way and be world champion one day.

If he doesn’t self destruct first. Doesn’t he have a volatile streak?

Anything is possible in boxing. Going just on talent though he's the obvious guess for me
