First of all when did I say that Lewis was head in the Vitali fight? Then yes, I scored Hoyfield - Lewis II for Holyfield by a narrow margin as did a lot of the press media. I posted my card on this Forum some time ago. I think I even opened a specific thread for that fight. Right now I am just not in the mood to rewatch it but I will eventually. The thing you seem to score all close rounds against Evander so it will no be a particularly interesting exercise
I was there ! Produce these scores as I have that those show Cooper walking the fight! We both know you won't! You're just lying through your ignorant teeth!
No you havent, you are flat out lying .Show them to us? Rex Layne vs. Heinz Neuhaus (1st meeting) (Redirected from Fight:46742) Jump to:navigation, search Rex Layne 208 lbs drew with Heinz Neuhaus 215 lbs by PTS in round 10 of 10 Date: 1954-12-12 Location: Westfalenhalle, Dortmund, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany "Rex Layne, Salt Lake City, Utah, heavyweight, made a big hit with German boxing fans while holding European heavyweight champion Heinz Neuhaus to a 10 round draw last night. The crowd of 15,000 booed Neuhaus in the 9th and 10th rounds and some fans were so sure that Layne had won, they leaped in the ring and carried him down the steps in triumph on their shoulders before the decision was announced. Layne battered Neuhaus' body, almost jacknifed him with a left hook to the stomach in the 8th and gashed his brow in the final session. Neuhaus, ranked 5th among the world's heavyweights, was never able to start a decisive rally and never had Layne in trouble." -United Press
Good hunting to you Mac, you’re doing this thread justice soon enough it may outgrow the holy thread of legend.
MILDENBERGER BEGAN BUTTING FROM THE SECOND ROUND ONWARDS I WAS THERE. YOU HAVENT EVEN SEEN THE FIGHT ! PRODUCE A REPORT THAT SAYS MILDENBERGER WAS AHEAD AT THE TIME OF THE STOPPAGE!
Vitali fought the best version of Corrie Sanders , just like Gerry Rooney fought the best version of Ken Norton Vitali beat Magee who was slicker than Byrd
The cuts Vitali suffered were caused by Lewis' punches. Winning by way of a stoppage, due to inflicting cuts on one's opponent, has been a legitimate path to victory since I can remember watching boxing. Whether the scorecards read 4-2, in rounds, to Vitali or not, it ain't over until the fat lady sings. Unfortunately, her cue - the bell to signal the end of the 12th round - hadn't been given yet. Instead, she was belting out a number from Vitali's corner, at the end of round 6; a round in which Lewis had just given Vitali a shooing.
I'm always shocked at the amount of people that suddenly don't seem to understand this simple concept.
