Yes but Jones has a later date of birth therefore is better.

It will be very hard for Frazier to catch him.
And that past Roy's prime is a fact.
Just like Ali, he relied heavily on his athletic attributes (speed, reflexes) rather than on solid fundamentals and skills.
Just like Ali, once those started to fade, Roy started to get hit.
Unlike Ali, Roy did not posses a good chin.

So was Ruiz, yet he couldn't utilize those advantages properly.

Frazier had the same height and reach but had about 30lbs more bodyweight. Yet was infinitely the inferior boxer in terms of skill, speed and defense.

People want to act like Frazier was an ATG bad ass but in reality he fluked a big win.

30 pounds? Lol. Roy jones was not even a natural lhw, he was pretty small for this weight class, he was more a natural 168 pounder. Frazier was much much wider naturally a much bigger frame

Fluked? How did he fluke it? They went to war for 15 rounds and he came out the victor.

FOTC Frazier vs RJJr? Frazier...that version of Frazier was almost inhuman...he would have destroyed Jones by 9 or 10...maybe sooner.

It wouldn't go 15 rounds as Frazier would likely kill Jones within 5 rounds.
