Can’t complain given the recent sporting circumstance, although it’s a shame that this is where boxing is at right now a fight that would be an eliminator for British title is main event. Teddy Cheese all day for me, he’s proven British level at a higher weight whereas Eggington as much as he seems a real nice guy is there for the taking. As has been mentioned this seems to be Hearn building towards a Cheeseman Fowler fight.
There hasn't been a better card put on anywhere in the world since the covid pandemic and some people still want to whinge. I'm looking forward to it.
Does anyone else fancy Simon Valilily tomorrow night? I'm not impressed with Wardley at all, you can tell his background is White Collar dossers and journeymen. With his pedigree, Valilly should be able to outbox him certainty and he has enough to pop to keep him honest. At 8/1 he is priced well too long.
Completely deliberate that. So transparent. Needs to get his name trending and people tuning in tomorrow.
I think he’s got a chance but he’s not been great in terms of self discipline. I don’t rate Wardley though, he has no amateur pedigree either but everything will be in favour of the home fighter here. Vallily will have to chin him to get the win cos the commentators will be harping on about Wardley and the judges know the score should it go the full 10.
You wonder how much this event has cost financially to set up ? Has Hearn spent a load threw matchroom or are Sky financing the whole thing ?
I've heard 5 million but no idea how correct that is. Sky probably taking a slight hit so they have content other than Scottish football and cricket ( wish is mostly daytime anyway)
Great fight. I feel so much for Eggington, one game fighter. The card were probably right though. I know triangle theories don’t work but Beefy dismantled Eggington with pure ease so I think Ted has got a max ceiling of British level. If you want to go further than that you should be dealing with Eggington.
