@Olu G. Rotimi I expect more from CST especially due to his status as a mod. As a staff member of this board, I think mods carry more of a responsiblity to not make outlandish claims that are obviously absurdities to believe like Trout or Lara "schooled" Canelo. That's a hilarious idea, was Trout schooling Canelo while he was Bambi-ing on Ice?

Like you said Olu, it's one thing to believe that Trout or Lara was close or to score it for them, which you'd expect CST to do due to his being so biased against Canelo. Had CST said that he scored those for Trout or Lara no one would have batted an eyelid. But for CST to claim Canelo was schooled by either guy, that's a big comedy routine. We should expect more from CST as a mod, and in Trout's case he was knocked down which always makes it a lot harder to argue somebody who was knocked down won.

And while I personally wouldn't call what Floyd did to Canelo a schooling, at least not in the ring, (he certainly schooled him in negotiations with the whole catchweight situation) there's at least a reasonable argument that he did school him at least at some points during the match. Floyd certainly came a lot closer to schooling Canelo than anyone else did, that's for sure.

Much more seasoned. And yes I think prime. Keith took a year off in 2018, but he was still in his prime. Canelo didn't really come into his prime until several years after he fought Mayweather. Many would argue that he was still pre-prime when he fought Lara and wasn't really fully in his prime until he fought Chavez or until the GGG matches.

That's not to say that Canelo wasn't already a beast when he destroyed Lopez or even earlier but pretty much anybody always says about Canelo that he improved greatly as a fighter since the Mayweather match. And I wouldn't say that Thurman looked like dogcrap against Lopez. He looked good early, he just ran into some trouble in a couple of the rounds. Of course the Thurman who beat Garcia and Porter wouldn't have made the kind of mistakes he did against Lopez, but that's to be expected after not fighting in 2018. He shook out the cobwebs vs Lopez and it was the wake up call he needed to be ready to fight Pac-Man. And just the fact that he went the distance vs Pac-Man shows that he improved after the wake-up call vs Lopez. Ask yourself if the version of Keith who fought Lopez would have even lasted the distance vs Pacquiao.

While you aren't a mod (Thank god!), you constantly try to say canelo schooled 3G in a fight 95% of the world thinks he lost... Delusions or senility from you?

Pbf over canelo a faded pbf was in his 5th weight class against a unified champ undefeated top 10 p4p fighter pbf shut him out. Canelo now is p4p #1 and on top of the sport.

Pacs win over thurman was good but he was coming back from surgery inactive didn't look good in his last fight before fighting pac and the fight was much much closer than PBF's win over canelo since that fight thurman has done nothing

Clenelo was drained to death in their fight and he wasn't on them PEDs. I've never seen Clenelo more bruised up than in the Floyd fight. That's because he was drawn and his body was parched. Against GGG, he had almost no bruising in both fights despite being caight flush many times.

He wasn't drained stop. Canelo fought pbf at the right time this was supposed to be the changing of the guard a passing of the torch fight the one judge who didn't score it for pbf proves that and brother naz rest in peace said this is the one guy that they will try to rob pbf with and he was right. Pbf was 36 on his way out against the future king of the sport canelo weighed 1 pound less than he did against trout 1 fight before it's an excuse and he dwarfed pbf in the ring. Even still pbf stood in front of him and took him to slick school.

Pac vs Thurboy was much more exciting with a KD and a moment in rd 9 when Pac made the body shot and Thurboy went into runtime. Overall a much exciting fight to watch.

Of course it was a much closer fight. One was a clinic the other was a hard fought mini war.

Pac beating Thurman by far. 40 year old champions are rare. Canelo was not in his prime yet when he fought Mayweather.

I thought it must be April Fools when I saw this but I then realized it was another delusional Pac fan. Then it all made sense.
