There seems to be around 1500 pro fighters in a weight class. So the average pro fighter would be a guy ranked in the 700's worldwide. How good at boxing is this fighter? Would he go to any decent random gym and clean out all, but the best amateurs out there? Anybody outside the top 15 or even top 10 is pretty much referred to as a bum. The 24th ranked guy would be called a tomato can on here if a champ was to make a defense against him. So how good is a guy who is ranked 700 really? I ask because we don't really see these guys televised much and all you need to become a pro boxer is to sign a piece of paper to get a license.
I think that the average joe on the street would be shocked at how effective even a 500 ranked boxer would be at turning his head into mush. I think he'd probably do exactly what you say: clean up your average gym except for if there happens to be some outstanding fighter there.
I don't know the real stats but i'd assume 80%+ of people quit boxing after a couple of years. So if they've boxed as amateur for a number years then transition to a pro or have jumped straight in as a pro and managed to hold their own and not be a 0-30 tomato can then they're going to be pretty solid no matter where they're ranked.
A rank 700 guy with a positive record could certainly go to any decent random gym and immediately be one of the most skilled operators there. That said, there are LOTS of elite amateurs who could hold their own, get the better of, or completely outclass a rank 700 guy. Plenty of amateurs with better skills and talent than the rank 700 guy don't turn professional as everyone knows the odds of making money are terrible. Boxing fans tend to forget that every name they know rests upon thousands of nameless skulls. Rank 700 guys are an important part of the ecosystem. It's true that they're in the bottom half of a profession they've chosen and can be labelled "unsuccessful", but we must never, ever forget that that profession is truly among the most difficult to succeed at.

Well, not very good against other pros of course. But against the average joe, yeah, much better. Simply based on the fact that he will be practicing often and is probably more used to getting hit and staying calm.
mainly money mate he can earn between 25-50 grand a year , not a bad income on top of your Day job ! He only ever been stopped once that was against Liam Williams on a days notice!
Does he fight mostly prospects and guys expected to eventually contend? Is he basically being paid to lose to much more talented fighters? A lot of fighters pad their records to start out.
he gets the odd fight on his promoters show where he is not paid just to turn up and give experience to the up and comer . But yes like you say it’s mainly up and comers he has been in with Liam Williams current Wbo number 2 in the world at middleweight and Scott Fitzgerald Current unbeaten light middleweight British champion! a lot of his fights and most profitable are very short notice fights when the original opponent pulls out in fight week he steps in and gets paid very well usually for 4 or 6 rounds of work !
Another question. It's good he's only been knocked out once for the sake of his health. But this is pro boxing. The loser often times takes a physical beating. Does he worry about that? He has over 60 losses and he must fight very often.
very rarely takes much damage mate the only time he looked totally out of his depth was against Liam Williams , i think he is 30 now I don’t think he will go on forever but he is not taking much damage at all really , if he could sell tickets he wouldn’t be a journeyman a lot of boxers turn to being a journeyman and are just as good as most of these opponents they lose to but there is no money in it for them unless they can sell tickets or you have a backing of a promoter! in some fights he is capable Of going up a gear but that’s not his job and the phone would stop ringing if he starting winning these fights he is paid not to in reality !
