We're not on about the negotiations. We're saying if Lopez misses out on Loma, it's because he's ducked him.

Not a single body on the planet disputes that.

It's a poor negotiation tactic that sees you offered over double what you've earned before wherein you start talking about feeding your family.

I'm not convinced we'll see the fight made right now but we'll soon see. If he doesn't get a better offer and chooses to fight someone else for far less then we all know what it is.

Like I said, it's not even about what Teo is actually making, these guys just don't like Loma making twice as much.

It's negotiation 101. You calling it a poor tactic makes it pretty apparent you've never had to negotiate on your own behalf before

Loma needs Lopez far more than Lopez needs Loma imo. If we're talking about the importance of legacy. Lomas time is running out

Well it's the whole beat the man to be the man type affair, it's nothing new and when you're not much of a draw like Lopez isn't then you can't really complain too much when being offered a lot more than you usually make for a fight you've been talking loud about how you'd win well.

De La Hoya was paid twice what Mayweather was. Hell, Gatti got paid more than Floyd despite not being in the same league talent wise.

    OK Mr. Trump. :sisi1

Yep, trying to negotiate in public with an ill advised set of whining about being offered a lot more than ever previously received for a fight you've been calling for is a great tactic.

You don't have to be Trump to try to get yourself what you feel your worth. And yeah, if behind closed doors you are getting a take it or leave it offer going public with what you want is about the only thing you can do. These guys are risking their lives in the ring. Trying to get an amount they feel they are worth is not whining. No more than Loma demanding 2/3s of the purse is.

Well it remains to be seen if that's what he's doing and his valuation of himself seems to be out of sync with what most people think it is in this fight. His statements on the opening offer were at best tone deaf. Talking about feeding your family with a million dollar plus offer is both laughable and whiny.

I don't think even you could claim he's being lowballed here. This wasn't an offer worthy of his scorn even if you think he deserves more.

You don't let other people decide what your worth you decide that for yourself for better or for worse. Don't read too much into the statements made public about this. Everything and everything is an attempt to gain leverage at this point. My guess is Lopez would settle for far less than what he is leading you to believe he is demanding

And I've said I think these public comments will work against him. Lomachenko and his team know that the majority of boxing fans will see him not taking that offer as a duck. I don't think he's playing this well but time will tell.

    Nah mate.

Loma is already number 1 in the world already a unified title holder, already considered the champion.

If Lopez wants to be number 1,he fights him, otherwise he ducks.

This wouldn't be such a big deal if lopez hadn't talked so much **** and called loma out. I understand getting your money but this makes him look bad if the fight doesn't happen.
