You think a tired and chinny Price coukd take bombs in the 11th and 12th rounds? I don't. He is just too fragile.
Price would only have to hit CAnelo once and it would all be over he is far more powerful than Canelo is who is far too short to catch a 6'8 fighter with out being caught first and how the hell is he going to deal with a 82 inch reach?
Did you actually watch Lewis v Akinwande? Akinwande held as soon as he punched through fear and as soon as Lewis punched he held, why do you think he got disqualified? He didn`t know how to stop Lewis hitting him because they had a similar reach, he was completely out of his depth. I have it possible on a hard disc recorded. He didn't do more excessive holding as some other Brits, like Hatton and Khan. Even Froch hold a lot, against Abraham. But the Lewis fight is not the subject, it are the tactical and defensice abilities, as he spoiled like mature Hopkins or Ward. He dominated Zolkin, Williams, Norris and maybe Schulz, just as destroyed Schießer. He was comfortable leading against McCall, that who needed the lucky punch to win. I have even seen some of his later fights, in Africa, where he had still pretty good movement, superior to Fury`s movement
Timing is a thing you know. It´s not like Canelo would be trading jabs. Paul Williams supposedly had a 79 inch reach. Plenty of (not so good)welterweights were able to get past it. If Price was half as good at using his lead hand as say Kovalev, Alvarez would be ****ed. But he is not. And you make it sound as if taller means faster. When punches come flying, Price will stand still and cover up. He rarely throws meaningful counters.
There was a guy on the forum once who kept saying that De La Hoya would have been able to beat a prime, 215 lbs Mike Tyson based on "skill and speed beat strength".
