Yep that gym only ever produces world champions or bums. If they could only stop producing bums they’d be a decent gym.
It's a vast majority Bum gym. That's for sure. People just mostly forget the hyped bums that failed ( there's a VERY long list of them) It's easy to forget the failed bums, and it's obviously easier to remember the minority of successful ones. There's been so many bums/ failed hyped jobs/ journeyman from that gym. One of the reasons for this is they mostly encourage a flawed style that lack the fundamentals that few boxers can pull off. It's a very overrated gym imo. And don't use the excuse of them training local fighters. In recent years for example they did absolutely nothing with Jason Quigley, Nicola Adams, Jake Ball, and imo Willy Hutchinson also has regressed since moving to them.
didn't you read my 2nd paragraph. Nicola Adams - Olympic Gold medalist x 2, Wolrd Championship Gold Medalist Jason Quigley - World championship Silver medalist, European Gold medalist Jake Ball - Was a touted prospect signed with Hearn Willy Hutchinson - World Amateur Youth Gold Medalist All moved to Ingles and looked worse/ no improvement.
I did, but I was addressing your comments in the first paragraph. You don't feel like defending them?.
No It is now turned into a thread bashing a gym that has done more for wayward youths than the posters all put together will ever do... i hate the internet sometimes
Absolutely. Not sure the hatred of this gym at all. Done loads for their local community, given the sport some diversity in terms of both culture and boxing styles. Of course they had a few failures and success. Not sure what the issue is or bringing up loads of old threads, just to bash people, some of which aren’t here to defend themselves.
Unless you produce multiple unified World Champions that never get dropped I take it your gym is rubbish. What a time to be alive.
There's been so many bums/ flops/hypejobs/ fighters they didn't improve - from that gym though Tyan Booth, Dave Coldwell, Nadeem Siddique, Atif Shafiq, Amer Khan, Khalid Shafiq, Daniel Teasdale, Ali Shah, Steve Barnes, Leo D'Erlanger , Adam Etches, Muheeb Fazeldin, Richard Towers, Kash Ali, David Howe, Pele Reid, Zahid Kahut, Karl Bell, Jason Quigley, Jake Ball, Nicola Adams, Jordan Gill, Leigh Wood, Yves Nagbu, Bob Ajisafe, Liam Cameron, Lee Reevesetc Lee Reeves was a touted top prospect, Brook persuading him to relocate to Sheffield from Canada, and in his very first fight with Ingle he loses. Kid Galahad will soon be added to the list, and Willy Hutchinson ( unless he changes trainer) Plus many Ingle fighters have been popped for peds.
