Something that can be corrected though, needs to learn to double jab and send the right down the pipe afterwards, could of caught Jonas doing that at Jonas was just timing the single jab.

Can you believe Adam Smith compared Jonas to Persoon in the way she was apparently knocking Harper out of her rhythm?? The fella talks so much shite I cannot believe he gets that gig. Jonas is the more skilled boxer, if anyone goes marauding in like Persoon then it’s Harper, they’re like for like.

I had it to Jonas by 2 rounds but I’ll hold my hand up and admit that I am biased. I thought she took a lot of Harper’s shots on the gloves and arms on the inside whereas she landed some lovely counters. Jonas should be world champ and whilst you couldn’t cry robbery with it being so competitive, you’d have to say she was hard done by.

That was the fight of the night for me. Proper competitive, enjoyable match up that.

 

Whether we like or not, the ladies saved the evening.

Harper let Jonas control the centre too much. It's clear Jonas is susceptible when being backed up because she doesn't tend to pivot off and tries a big counter. Lot harder to land a big hook going backwards.

Took the centre of the ring away and made it much harder for Harper.

I think a draw was a fair score to be honest. Gave Harper rounds 6,7 and 10 of the last 5. Jonas took rounds 8 and 9.

 

What rounds did you give to Jonas, bearing in mind you probably said you have some bias Twentyman. I didn't really score the first 5 properly, will need to go back and watch it.

 

Not for the first time Eddie’s night is saved by a competitive women’s fight. It’s quite embarrassing putting Mismatch after mismatch on and being bailed out by people who most 13 year old amateur boys would beat the **** out of. Should people really have to pay subscriptions for that. Why not put competitive men’s fights on, I’m beginning to think he does it to make the women’s game he’s trying to ‘push’ appear better.

 

Chantelle cam would walk down and stop those pair imo..there is no bull**** with these girls and it's refreshing to see.

 

Got to say Chantelle does look the goods. She really needs a decent or big fight on Sky.

She's got a nice style, can box, move and bang a bit also. Eddie needs to be pushing her along.

 

I know he irritates a lot of people but Eddie and all the staff at Matchroom deserve a lot of credit, Eddie had a vision and has made this work and work well.

I really like the look of these shows on my screen, the shows have been solid enough, a couple of weeks and we have a garden PPV event.. I personally can't wait for it.

I hope they keep this up and running until everything is hopefully back to normal.

 

Hard to remember now bud, I’ll have to watch it back but I think I gave her 1 & 4 for definite in the opening 5 rounds. I had it 4-3 to Harper at one point but then gave Tasha rounds 8 & 9. My bias was to definitely give Jonas the final round when it was very very close.
