    Most up to date edit.

The next 25 on my list are all HW fights as well. You just can't beat them.

I think the way I'll start this is make myself a group of sub-categories, as follows:

    1. Historically significant fights (crossover appeal/importance)
    2. Historic "Changing of the guard" moments
    3. Interesting/informative stylistic matchups
    4. Legendary brawls
    5. My personal favorites

5 of each. We'll see what comes of that.

I tried doing that, I was like
    Historic fights
Should have been too old to do what they did
    Tyson
    Puncher vs Counter
    Momentum Shift
    Chess Match
    War

I like this approach, but it's not one I could bring myself to. I wrote this above where I "store' my top 100 fights, and I think it puts my view onto it quite clearly.

"Most people, when making lists like this, tend to consider things like historical significance or the calibre of the fighters in the ring. For me, I think that's over complicating a rather simple concept. So for my list, it's simply the fights I, personally, found the most entertaining. Which means I have to have seen it, so that ruled out old-school fights which weren't recorded, or aren't available. To keep it as simple as possible, I'm also keeping it to fights which I've seen in full, or at least enough to get a feel for the whole fight. I'd rule out something like Harada vs Aoki since there's only 3 minutes of it available, whereas I included Marciano vs Walcott I, which has a round missing.

Be it due to the moment shifts, blistering action, showboating, drama or whatever may tickle my fancy for that particular fight, the list is made up from my personal tastes. If your favourite is absent, keep your hat on, it's just an opinion. Keep in mind, technical masterpieces need not apply. This is a list of war!"

Well in this case the rules stipulate that at least half the rounds have to be there in order to qualify, so that takes care of part of it. I just have to pick the most historical ones that have been filmed.

I'll throw the list together and see what it looks like. It might end up looking like a ridiculous hodgepodge that makes no sense whatsoever.

I assume you will be numbering these prior to the deadline?

You can adjust your list as often as you'd like. But it needs to be numbered. You have plenty of time.

But to enjoy a fight, that encompasses an awful lot. Things like hype, significance, greatness can and do make fights exciting to watch.

I mean take Foreman vs Moorer. That fight would be nowhere near as exciting to watch if it wasn't for the age of Foreman and the fact it was for the championship.

1 this is stated in the OP, and has not been changed just for you (it is under mandatory guidelines)

2 He has included a template which everyone can use

3 everyone else has been able to figure it out and use this parameter

4 it is not an unreasonable request, and fairly simple to do

I have confidence (I hope it is not unfounded) that you can count to 25. You obviously desire to participate or you would not have wasted your time by creating this list. It should take about a minute or so to simply number them 1-25 as has been requested in the OP. But personally I don’t care and have wasted to much time on this. Please don’t let this spiral for 20 posts as in the previous thread where again you and only you had difficulty in understanding and following the rules.

I like seeing the Bloody Battle of Bayamon at #4! I think it is a top 5 fight for me, and I like it much better than the sequel...but it seems many/most on here prefer the 2nd fight. Good shout

On the GGG/Canelo fights I didn’t really think either was top 100 worthy let alone top 25, but I did find the first fight much more entertaining for my money
