Stopped a Quigg so washed he looked like he had been through an industrial cleaner every night for the previous month

Cheese and Egg showed these guys how it ought to be done. That's probably the only solid English domestic tear up that we'll see for a good while.

You just don't like Carroll do you? You're coming across a little petty tonight. Quigg was Quigg, he didn't look all that different to me, he was just the better man that night.

"good round for Hughes," says the commentator.

But his best is still not bothering Jono much.

I'm not scoring this but I see a lot in the IFLTV chat are saying Hughes is winning.

Jono got tagged clean way too much that round, but still managed to land far more on the backfoot.

    100-90 Carroll

99-91 or 98-92 is fine as well.

He had moments, but they were not regular enough from what I was seeing. Carrol should get the W.

It's just a case of Hughes, doing better than most people thought he was going to do, and the commentators giving him more credit than he deserves for it.

Gave some rounds to Hughes, he impressed me actually but he waits too long to get his shots off.

Im pretty indifferent to Carrol (I dislike Farmer though)

Quigg was Quigg? Quigg hadn't fought in well over a year, looked shot to pieces, had a single win in 27 month, had never been a Super Featherweight (it was his second bout at the weight) and had had his face smashed in 2 fights earlier. He wasn't the little powerful but cruder terrier he had been at 122lbs. He had never looked himself after the Frampton fight 4 years earlier, and 8 lbs south.
