Tyson's knockout of Biggs was good as well.

    Tyson.

His ko reel is that unbelievable, it's literally unbelievable.

Looks like a bunch of actors being told to go down like they've been shot.

What do you mean, "for their size"?

Are you asking who punched harder p4p between Tyson at heavy and Durán at .. lightweight?

Still going with Iron Mike, but a closer thing in that case than if you meant Roberto at middle. ;)

Ya! And the early flying around guys fought about as well as actors. Tyson didn't do that to prime guys.

Duran didn’t knock Buchanan or Marcel out. They most certainly could’ve made excuses.

You prove my point. They looked like actors. Who else did that?

Obviously P4P, head to head Duran had nowhere near the power of Tyson or any other top heavy.

Sure, he hit Buchanan down below. He stopped Marcel. Both were knockout wins, but okay, not the best displays of his power.

...um, yeah, I get p4p, but you still need to specify a division for a reference point. ...do you think Hands of Stone had the same power at 135 as 160 p4p? :dunno

The ref essentially DQ’d Marcel for inactivity. Or because he was late for an appointment, I’m not sure.

Poor mans Ruiz? Andy Ruiz? I don't know if I accept that Ruiz is better than Tubbs was. Tubbs fought in a better era. Ruiz has one great win.

I don't mean any disrespect personally to you, Mark, but I think it's ridiculous to try to make a relative comparison of the power of punching by fighters from such disparate weight divisions. I think Tyson was very likely the hardest puncher in history irrespective of weight. His musculature was so compact and his punching technique so refined. He had some flaws, but punching power was not one of them.

You can compare their power within their own division though. Tyson was just one of many incredibly powerful heavyweights in history. Duran is easily the hardest punching lightweight of all time. P4P Duran was more destructive in the lightweight division than Tyson was in the heavyweight division. Otherwise, I agree, trying to compare their power is difficult and pretty much futile.
