How much more can I stress it? I take those two examples back? I didn't notice anyone picking on my choices of Ishimatsu, DeJesus, Lampkin, and Moore.

Otherwise who says Tyson was a bad infighter possible doesn't know his Berbick or Ruddock 2 fights.

You really see those fights as evidence of greater-than-Mike-Tyson punching power? Ishimatsu, DeJesus, and Lampkin all went double-digit rounds with Duran before succumbing. Moore went 8 and was on his feet when his corner stopped the fight. Duran had excellent power but I don't see the comparison tbh. Tyson mowed through several legit contenders and champions inside of one or two rounds.

I’ve never heard him described as such and I’ve definitely never seen it on film.

Tyson was absolutely terrible inside. Best range was mid.

I don`t think heavyweights were that good in the 80`s aside from Holmes and Tyson and yes obviously I was talking about Andy, John had nothing like the hand speed of Tubbs.

Can you give examples of when Tyson was terrible inside? Tyson was highly skilled and D`Amato was a genius.

I actually think Tyson had the most skilled offense in heavyweight history and it`s a myth that he was a one-dimesional one punch KO artist, he simply wasn`t.

His uppercuts were from inside,he destroyed frank bruno from inside,he was better in the mid range but he was not terrible inside at all ,he was good and very dangerous
