Loma lost already so it's nowhere near Tyson Douglas. I don't know what the betting odds are right now but 3-1 Loma sounds about right to me

Why would that be the case? Lopez hasn't fought a guy with a pulse. MAYBE Commey?

Depends, if Lopez dominates and knocks Loma out then thats a huge upset! If Loma dominates for a few rounds and gets caught, while still an upset it'd have a lot of question marks over it

I mean, it would be unexpected given the CLEAR skill gap between them. But would it really be that big an upset for someone as quick, strong, and hard-hitting as Lopez to catch a smaller guy coming in?

He is widely considered to be the most dangerous fighter in the weight class, and KO'd a champ. There is nobody else at that weight that Loma could fight where the odds would be any tighter. What's your point? You are talking about monumental upsets in the history of the sport, this isn't even in the same hemisphere as those.

I voted for none of those, the kid is huge for the weight and a puncher, last time out Lomachenko struggled and was even buzzed.

Is lopez a 42-1 underdog expected to be knocked out in the first round? That's your answer if it would be a bigger upset or not

Not huge at all. Dougless and Ruiz were not belted whereas Lopez is.

It would be surprising but not shocking.

About or near Pacquiao-Barrera 1 upset level. The Destroyer got Ledwaba, while he has gotten Commey. More exposure today, internet, YouTube and all.

I think he does, I really think Lopez beats him.

And before you all laugh, I had money on Ruiz to beat AJ in the first fight, 16/1 to win by any method.

Beating my previous highest priced winner, Prescott to beat Khan by any method 9/1.

I like a long shot, I like a live underdog and I believe Lopez is one.

I've seen plenty of people pick Lopez to win so wouldn't consider it a big upset

It won't be an upset. It is still a dangerous fight for Loma. Lopez is the hardest puncher Loma will ever face. Because it is generally accepted that Loma is a small lightweight. Loma will lose if he is not careful.
