No need, I think you could slot one in between Light Heavy and Cruiser though

 

We need at least 4 more divisions and 2 more belts per division.

It's called being progressive people!

 

If they want to create a new weight then they should get rid of a few.

 

The only division needed is 188lbs between light heavy and cruiser weight. The 25lbs gap currently is too big.

Its just another way of earning sanctioning fees from the Clowns in charge at this organisation

 

That would mean Wilder isn't a HW anymore, which ends the Fury trilogy right there and then, but they will be able to hand him another belt in an easy vacant PBC fight.

This is my proposal

Rename 175 - crusierweight
New division 190 - super cruiserweight
210 - light heavyweight
210+ heavyweight

No need to set up another division between Lt.heavywieght and Cruizerweight divisions since it's no use. Even the Cruizerweight division itself is not popular today as many fighters over there have already moved up to the HW division. Besides, most fighters at 175 are big enough to move up to 190 if they want to IMO.

 

The amount of grown man that weight in at 200 lbs or more with a low bodyfat is so small, there is no need for any more weight classes but rather dietitians to take care of those fat bloop fishes.

povetkin and whyte could seriously face each other in lhw thats how fat they are.
Andy ruiz jr is probably even a middle weight.
Out of the top 20 at hw the only guys that would NOT make the cw limit are: fury, aj, washington, joyce, dubios and maybe wilder.

 

The "NEW" division should be called 'CatchWeight' Division where all the different weights regardless will fall into this when CATCHWEIGHTing

 

Because 18 divisions isn't enough. The wbc is run by clowns

 

If it is absolutely necessary to create a new category, it would have to be around 185 pounds.
