Top 15 apart from LaBarba who wasn't there at all.

I had Barry in my top ten, but I've since changed my mind on that.

    And you won't like this.

Pongsaklek might have made an appearance.

This was my list, it's since changed slightly.

    1. Jimmy Wilde
    2. Miguel Canto
    3. Pascaul Perez
    4. Midget Wolgast
    5. Benny Lynch
    6. Peter Kane
    7. Betulio Gonzalez
    8. Masao Oba
    9. Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
    10. Jimmy Barry

The only person that will likely top his numbers are Robinson. Charles at light heavy and Ali might cut it close as well.

Robinson might well get 24 top votes.

I'm not sure he will but yeah, I expect him to take the lead.

Sandy Saddler got robbed. He’s the greatest featherweight of all time.

It still bothers me that 3 lists exclude Saldivar who I view at #3 slightly ahead of Sanchez, I don’t understand how he failed to qualify as top 15 for some. Good list all in all but still feel like Saldivar is at least a spot to low.

That's not as bad as Canto missing out on a top 15 list at FLW.

I like the FW list. The top three mirror my own.

Unlike many other divisions, there seems to be a lot of parity in the featherweight ranks. Heavyweight for example.....there's Ali and Louis and then a step down just a tad to maybe a Holmes, and then a drop off a sheer cliff to #4. You don't see that in the featherweight history. On a good night most guys in this top ten could beat any of the others.

it is at least equivalent in my mind. But I also realize that my own rankings are limited in complete knowledge and understanding. To exclude Canto or Saldivar from a top 15 is a shame. Saldivar still holds the records for most unified FW title bouts and longest unified title reign...pretty lofty accomplishments

Look again, I think Canto was number 2 or 3 on that FLW list.

Unified is misleading though. The likes of Attell and Kilbane and Dixon and Pep also had long undisputed reigns.

Saldivar is great though, greater than Sanchez imo, I have him number 3.

But Canto is a top 2 lock at FLW. To have him outside the Top 15 is nothing short or ridiculous.
