JRC was supposed to fighting The Monster in a fight I was kind of excited about but apparently that's not happening any time soon so JRC is moving on to face Duke Micah, who I only ever saw as a losing amateur but who has since racked up 24-0 with 19 knockouts against shitty opposition.

Micah's unranked (anywhere that matters) but seems to be a banger...JRC unproven at the weight, probably - might be fun?

Highly doubt it. Micah in his last fight was dropped by Janiel Rivera, a guy who's best weight was around 105/108 pounds.

EXACTLY. Like how Chester Slider was dropped by Paul Lewis before he beat Henry Armstrong. That's what you meant?

Casimero is the one who abandoned the Inoue fight. Not saying he ducked him, but didn't want to wait around for a date and most likely will sign with PBC.

Aye, no question Casimero ducked Inoue, they were meant to fight months ago and there is still no sign. If he wants to fight he shouldn't wait around indefinitely.

Fighting a territories fighter with a puncher's record in a keep busy fight, what could possibly go wrong?

casimero didnt wanted to waste the year waiting for a fight against inoue so he is taking this easy on paper fight. Shoud be a clear ko/tko victory for him, Micah has fought soft journeymen only and in his sole marginal step-up against rivera didnt look good and his "power" was absent.

Micah is ranked #11 with the WBO if you go on their website... However when he was put there is unclear...

What's going on with travel restrictions? Can Inoue even come to the US to train for JRC?

Is this considered ducking? He already agreed to take a paycut to fight Inoue. Then tweeted that he turned down a Moloney fight to wait for Inoue. But still Top Rank wanted Moloney instead? How is that a duck on Casimero?

My bad. I read this part: "no question Casimero ducked Inoue" as "without a doubt Casimero ducked Inoue".

Visa's are a ball ache for the Japanese at the moment HOWEVER they are about to open the gates to allow fighters into Japan (according to the JBC/JPBA Coronavirus Liason meeting today), and Japan does have fans in arena's now, so there will be money at the gate there...

Expect to see more bouts over there begin to get announced shortly

Cant blame casimero. He's what stucked in the US since february or march? Already turned down moloney and agreed to the paycut and yet top rank is supposedly in advanced talks with moloney.
