Is Burt still with us?

    Burt was one of the best posters here...I remember his posts on this forum few years ago.
    I was not member back then but I still read what he write and I belive he is the oldest member on this forum!
    I am not trying to be ofensive but Burt is 94/5 years old and he didn't have much time left so It would be nice to hear something from him!
    Guys If you know something about him,please give me some info!

    Not sure what happened to old Burt. Very smart man. I know there were a few older posters who passed away over the years. Hopefully he wasn’t one of them

    He was alive as of last year. I haven't been able to find an obituary for him which would certainly be easy to find had he passed, given that he had a fairly unique last name. So I'm willing to bet, he's still alive.

    Just checked facebook, as we share a couple mutual friends. As of May he was still kicking.

    I just checked also and found no evidence that he had passed. So if you see this, Burt, know that we love you and miss your postings. God bless!

    I imagine some of the older posters like OLD FOGEY have passed away. I am assuming someone can confirm this?

    Yes, It would be nice to see Burt, SuzieQ, My Dinner with Conteh, Manassa etc. back here. The forum was so much fun in those 2005-10 days. I kind of left for a while after that, would visit sporadically over the next 9 years, and finally decided to come back a few months ago.

    I am glad some of the posters from when I first joined like Salsanchezfan, JohnThomas, Mendoza etc. are still posting here. Would be great to see the other guys back too.

    Good,ole mighty 2000s!
    I was watching this forum since 08-2012 and Forum was very good place back then but I was too green to become a member!
    When I joined last year I followed this Forum but I noticed decline and fall!
    Forum is death and getting worse every day by trolls!

    Its still a really good forum. We had trolls like Revolver back in the day too. There are a lot of good posters here, old and new, and I for one am glad that I am posting regularly here again.

    I know some racist trolls from 00s like blackhercules and few of them!
    But today, there is atleast 10 of them here.Forum is still good but a bit dead and not that active with those nice threads to read.
    Mendoza is good along with Suzie Q,Brockton,Conteh....they are pure gold of this forum.
    Anyway I'm glad you are back
