I like this list best so far..I think 1-3 are exact but you can order them any way you want, I prefer Benny at 1, but no complaint from me. The only minor criticism I have is Ortiz is 4 for me but I could go 5, not sure I agree w/7. All in all solid work and probably our best collective so far. Thanks @Rumsfeld and the 24.

Speaking of which, for familiarity’s sake, is your last name pronounced Chee-yon-E?

Should we ever meet, btw, I will not be addressing you as Geoffrey, Geoff, Jeff or Chee-Yo — you’ll always be Rummy to me. (And you can call me Pat, even though that’s not my real name: born on March 17.)

Well, Canzeroni or whatever you wanna call him, in that picture has an enormous gourd. You couldnl’t fit a pumpkin over that head.

If he weighed 135, guaranteed 35 of it was just his head.

I"d happily switch Ortiz and Whitaker.

It was a shame to see him outside the top 10. I had him just inside, it was also a shame to see Angott miss out on the top 15.

I think Angott was a game, optimistic fellow but if you look closely he gets a lot of mileage over beating a (great) featherweight at lightweight and a LOT of his best wins were in the 140-pound range.

Lot of discussion on this about how junior-division guys shouldn’t be counted and on balance, while he had a nice run at lightweight, a lot of his best wins should count at welterweight for this exercise as they were over 135.

Technically that is the proper pronunciation (or very close to it), but it's long since been Americanized in my experience (including people with the same surname and no relation).

Ironically, I think there is another fella named Pat who has a username with Joe in it.

Yeah, I like this list - my top 4 is near enough identical. Personally, I'd switch 3 and 4 but I have no problem with this order.

Hearns is maybe a little high for my liking and maybe gets rated higher because he's such a h2h monster at this weight, I dunno...?

Regarding Mayweather - yeah, I'm inclined to agree with you, Rummy. I think the crux of the issue with his place comes from the weight one places on his win over Pacquiao. If he did that in 2010 or 2011, then he be a lock for top 10 without question and he'd be approaching the right end of that list. That he did it in 2015... well, it still obviously mattered, but just not as much as it should have done. So that's where I think the dissent is. But in 20 or 30 years, will anyone care about such nuance? Probably not.

No one will care about when he fought any of his big names, unless they were clearly shot, they never do.

How did Griffith get a first place vote!

The only name in that top ten that I don't consider a top 15 fighter is Hearns, but I have changed my mind on that stance a few times so I've no real quarrel there.

The only thing I really have issue with is Griffith getting a number 1 vote, blows my mind that.

My top 4 is the exact same order.

I think Mayweather is a lock for top ten tbh.

Does anyone else think the "RC" logo combined with the blue boxing gloves looks a bit like Cartman when you're scrolling on your phone?

LOL at one of the comments calling us all baby boomers.

I like this list and I don't like it. The top three is solid, so are the inclusions of Griffith, Gavilan and Britton. But those three shouldn't be any lower than six. Without consideration for H2H, I can't see Hearns or Napoles as high as they were, and if you are considering H2H then you need to have Walker too. And my British tastes aren't happy with Lewis' exclusion.
