This ****ing idiot is exactly the reason why eddie can charge what ever he likes....

Agrees it isnt the best, agrees loads of fights have been dropped out and still thinks he will pay it. Because he will pay it.

It might feel like it's booming, but it doesn't feel sustainable. We're not seeing the continuity that will keep people coming back for sporting reasons, just Hearn playing a blinder pulling rabbits out of hats.

Love having guys like GGG, Usyk and Loma over here. Just a shame their fights were utter, utter mismatches. Brook's career effectively ended, Bellew fighting Usyk was pointless, and Campbell was seriously overmatched. Triangle theories don't often pan out I know, but watching Loma vs Linares and Campbell vs Linares made that one pretty obvious. Hard to see how those fights helped past the individual events.

Feels like Hearn's promotional skills and financial clout could be doing much more. He should be able to get hold of the best British fighters and make them genuine stars who people will pay for each time without needing rhetoric and background stories. He should be able to promote based primarily on their boxing skills. Just run through some of our best fighters of the last few years and it makes me scratch my head how Hearn doesn't have more successful fighters who have constantly fought at world level. I'm talking about guys he has and hasn't promoted.

I mean not to just blame Eddie. But him throwing DAZN money round like tic tacs means that on a £20 PPV with no world title on the line (Taylor does not count)

    We cannot afford to get
    Kuzmin vs Bakole
    Allen vs Fury
    Connor Benn
    Etc

What a desperate state of affairs.

It’s a poor card for PPV full stop. I’ve been to most of Whyte’s ppv cards at the O2 so it’s not like I dislike watching him...it needs an extra big fight for me, Chisora versus someone ranked or similar. Taylor vs Persoon will be **** to watch once again...fine as an undercard fight on a big ppv but not as chief support.

Eddie has basically been playing Kerplunk with quality on these cards over the last few years

His pizza comparison was bang on. If you are charged for a large pizza and sides and you just got a small pizza you would go nuts.

    Eddie has brain washes people

I am the first to admit this show looks poor in regards to it being a PPV,but Danny sounds either very agenda driven or failing that that he is auditioning to be a Talk sport host

Lots of reasons why this shouldn't be PPV,but there's a few good arguments too that he had no interest in listening to

I thought the other lad offered up absolutely nothing in terms of good arguments.

If this had been "Fight Camp - 4 weeks culminating in Whyte vs Povetkin"

And the money went towards all purses and fight I would have 100% paid. This Dillian deserves it, i find bizzare. He would hardly be signing on if he was getting 500k purses.

Wouldn't the lack of gate revenue be a bigger factor than the DAZN link up?

You would almost rather Eddie said, we can’t afford to put boxing on with no crowds so we’re going to offer four fight camp cards at £15. This card at ppv is a joke
